81. SHRI SVARNAMANDIR TIRTHA (SHRI VASUPUJYA BHAGAVAN)
The tirtha is situated in the heart of Shishamahal Bazaar which is at a distance of 24 kms. from the Hoshiarpur Railway station in Punjab. The temple is constructed by Lala Gujaramalaji and his son Dolatmalaji. Here is installed a very much impressive idol of MULANAYAKA Shri Vasupujya Bhagavan. The entire dome of the peak easily reminds us of the Golden Temple of the Sikhs in Amritsar. Just like the Golden Temple, the entire dome is got decked and covered with sheets of gold by Lala Gujaramalaji who spent lots of wealth on it. That is precisely the reason why this Jina temple is known as Svarnamandir in V.S. 1948. The ceremonious installation of the temple was held in V.S. 1950; and in the templethere is also an idol of quartz colour. On one side of the idol of the MULANAYAKA, we have the idols of Shri Mahavira Swami and Shri Parshvanatha Bhagavan, and those of Shri Rushabhadeva Bhagavan and Shri Sumatinath Bhagavan on the other. Just in the vicinity of this Svarnamandir, Shri Sangha constructed a temple of MULANAYAKA Shri Parshvanath Bhagavan. The temple is 32 feet in height and 36 ft. in breadth. We have here an exquiste Samavasarana in metal brought from the temple at Kota-Kangada; such a one is not visible anywhere else in India.
૮૧. શ્રી સ્વર્ણમંદિર તીર્થ (શ્રીવાસુપૂજય ભગવાન)
પંજાબના હોશિયારપુર રેલવે સ્ટેશનથી સવા બે કિ.મી. દૂર શીશમહલ બજારની વચ્ચે આ તીર્થ આવેલું છે. આ મંદિરનું નિર્માણ લાલા ગુજરમલજી અને એમના પુત્ર લાલા દોલતભાઇજીએ કરેલું છે. અહીં મૂળનાયક શ્રીવાસુપૂજયની પ્રતિમા અત્યંત પ્રભાવશાળી અને દર્શનીય છે. એના શિખરના ઘુમ્મટનો બધો ભાગ અમૃતસરના શીખોના સુવર્ણમંદિરની યાદ આપે છે. સુવર્ણમંદિરની માફક ઘુમ્મટના ભાગને વિ.સં. ૧૯૪૮માં લાલા ગુજરમલજીએ અઢળક ધન ખર્ચીને સોનાનાં પતરાંથી મઢાવેલો છે. આથી જ આ જિનમંદિર સ્વર્ણમંદિરના નામથી ઓળખાય છે. આ મંદિરની પ્રતિષ્ઠા વિ.સં. ૧૯૫૦માં થયેલી છે અને મંદિરમાં સ્ફટિક રત્નની પ્રતિમા પણ છે. આમાં મૂળનાયકની પ્રતિમાની એક બાજુ શ્રી મહાવીર સ્વામી અને શ્રી પાર્શ્વનાથ ભગવાન અને બીજી બાજુ શ્રી ઋષભદેવ ભગવાન અને શ્રી સુમતિનાથ ભગવાન પ્રતિષ્ઠિત છે. સ્વર્ણમંદિરની નજીક જ શ્રી સંઘે વિ.સં. ૧૯૫૦માં બંધાવેલું મૂળનાયક શ્રીપાર્શ્વનાથ ભગવાનનું મંદિર છે. આ મંદિર ૩૨ ફૂટ ઊંચું અને ૩૨ ફૂટ પહોળું છે. કોટ-કાંગડાના દેરાસરમાંથી લાવવામાં આવેલું ધાતુનું સુંદર સમવસરણ અહીં છે. આવું સમવસરણ ભારતનાં અન્ય તીર્થોમાં જોવા મળતું નથી.
