This can, however, be ignored in the present case, for the meaning is quite clear by the use of evam for de bz'in, lit. tatha. V has unnecessarily emended it by raga. The Vrtti says: "tasmad visayakamabsvarundsiddhatvat sunyah." In b the verb dusyati is here not from Vdus, but from Vdvis. Cf. Pali dosa =dvesa. This is quite evident from the Tib. word for it, sdan. __CSV : रजनीयवस्वायत्तोदयो' हि रागः। तच्च रखनीयं वस्तु 1 HPS ad. na. * Tib. udod chags kyi gz'i med pahi pbyir ro ; HPS ragavatsvabhavatvat. * Tib. dehi gz'i ji Itar med pa.
