powers). 7. May the Arahantas who are the annihilators of the dense
obscuring* Karmas (psycho-physical impurities), who are like the sun for the lotus of releasable souls existent in the three worlds, who possess infinite knowledge and

(1-2) that which obscures knowledge aod intuition. (3) That which holds up datural bliss and produces pleasure and pain. (4) That which obstructs spiritual awakening and ethico-spiritual conduct. (5) That which determines the period of stay of self in a particular body. (6) That which is responsible for the making of a particular body. (7) That which determines status in society. (8) That which causes handcaps io charity, in gains and in selfpower.
