And these (thoughts) should be done away with by one not observing religious forins, with observance thereof; by one observing them with proper knowledge; thus having attained the highest knowledge he of him. self, becomes the highest adept (Siddha). 87. External signs X are bound to the body, and the body binds the self in the bonds of experience and nurisery ; those who obstinately attach themselves to signs find no liberation from the world of misery. 88.
