In addition to this, we also find some smaller commentaries of Pannavaṇā. Muni Punyavijaya Punyavijaya has mentioned the commentary named 'Bijaka' by Harsakulagani. Ia Muni Punyavijaya's "Introduction to Prajñopand" and in "Jinaratnakośn we find mention of paryayu". "Prajñāpand-sutra-saroddhāra" is also mentioned in Jinaratnakośa'.

Acarya Malayagiri mentions carni and Vṛddhavṛakhya in his Vrtti Cürni is untraceable at present. Malayagiri's commentary is the most elaborate among all the available commentaries. Acarya Haribhadra Suri's commentary is the most original and basic too.

Nomenclature
This canon is known as Jambuddivapannotti (Jambudvipaprajñopri). Projñāpt means exposition, information or treatment. It contains the exposition of Jambudvipa, hence it is called Jambudvipap ajñopti. Sthänänga särra mentions four ungubahya prajñaptis-(1) Candraprujupti, (2) Süryoprajñapti, (3) Jambudvipaprajñapti, and (4) Dvipasagaraprajñapti. In Kasayopahudu, projñaptis have been classified as the five arthadhikdras of 'parikarma' which is the first division of Drstivada (1) Candraprajapti, (2) Süryaprajapil, (3) Jambudvipaprajñapti, (4) Dvipasagara prajñapti and (5) Vyakhyaprujñapti.
