402] [व्यवहारसूत्र (1) पूर्व राजा का राजकुमार या उसके वंशज राजा बने हों अथवा केवल व्यक्ति का परिवर्तन हुआ हो, अन्य राजसत्ता, व्यवस्था और कानूनों का कोई परिवर्तन न हा हो तो पूर्व ग्रहण की हुई आज्ञा से विचरण किया जा सकता है, पुन: आज्ञा लेने की आवश्यकता नहीं रहती है। (2) यदि कोई सर्वथा नया ही राजा बना हो, राज्यव्यवस्था का परिवर्तन हो गया हो तो वहां विचरण करने के लिए पुनः प्राज्ञा लेना आवश्यक हो जाता है। सभी जैन संघों के साधु-साध्वियों के विचरण करने की राजाज्ञा एक प्रमुख व्यक्ति के द्वारा प्राप्त कर ली जाय तो फिर पृथक-पृथक किसी भी संत-सती को आज्ञा लेने की आवश्यकता नहीं रहती है। सूत्र 1-2 3-4 सातवें उद्देशक का सारांश अन्य गच्छ से आई हुई दूषित प्राचार वाली निर्ग्रन्थी को प्रवर्तिनी आदि साध्वियां प्राचार्य आदि से पूछे बिना एवं उसके दोषों की शुद्धि कराये बिना नहीं रख सकतीं, किन्तु प्राचार्य आदि उसके दोषों की शुद्धि करवाकर प्रवर्तिनी आदि साध्वियों को पूछे बिना भी गच्छ में रख सकते हैं। उपेक्षापूर्वक तीन बार से अधिक एषणादोष सेवन या व्यवस्थाभंग आदि करने पर उस साधु-साध्वी के साथ आहार-सम्बन्ध का परित्याग किया जा सकता है। ऐसा करने के लिए साध्वियां प्रत्यक्ष वार्ता नहीं कर सकतीं, किन्तु साधु प्रत्यक्ष वार्ता कर सकते हैं। साधु कभी साध्वी को दीक्षा दे सकता है और साध्वी कभी साधु को दीक्षा दे सकती है, किन्तु वे उसे प्राचार्य आदि की निश्रा में कर सकते हैं, अपनी निश्रा में नहीं। साध्वी अतिदूरस्थ आचार्य या प्रवर्तिनी की निश्रा स्वीकार करके दीक्षा न लेवे, किन्तु सन्निकट प्राचार्य या प्रवर्तिनी की ही निश्रा स्वीकार करे। साधु दूरस्थ प्राचार्य की निश्रा स्वीकार करके भी दीक्षा ले सकता है। अतिदूर गई हुई साध्वी से अन्य साध्वी क्षमायाचना कर सकती है, किन्तु साधु को क्षमापना करने के लिए प्रत्यक्ष मिलना आवश्यक होता है / भाष्य में परिस्थितिवश साधु को भी दूरस्थ क्षमापना करना कहा है। उत्काल में (दूसरे-तीसरे प्रहर में) कालिक सूत्र का स्वाध्याय नहीं करना चाहिए, किन्तु कभी साध्वी उपाध्याय आदि को स्वाध्याय सुना सकती है। बत्तीस प्रकार के अस्वाध्याय काल हों तब स्वाध्याय नहीं करना और जब अस्वाध्याय न हो तब अवश्य स्वाध्याय करना / अपनी शारीरिक अस्वाध्याय में स्वाध्याय नहीं करना, किन्तु साधु-साध्वी परस्पर सूत्रार्थ वाचना दे सकते हैं। 9-10 11-12 13-14 15-16
