द्वितीय स्थानपद ] [177 . उस (ईशानकल्प) में ईशान देवों के अट्ठाईस लाख विमानावास हैं / वे विमान सर्वरत्नमय यावत् (पूर्ववत्) प्रतिरूप हैं / उन विमानावासों के ठीक मध्यदेशभाग में पांच अवतंसक कहे गए हैं। वे इस प्रकार हैं१-अंकावतंसक, २-स्फटिकावतंसक, ३-रत्नावतंसक, ४-जातरूपावतंसक और इनके मध्य में ५-ईशानावतंसक / वे (सब) अवतंसक पूर्णरूप से रत्नमय यावत् प्रतिरूप हैं, (यह सब वर्णन सू. 166 के अनुसार जानना चाहिए / ) इन्हीं (अवतंसकों) में पर्याप्तक और अपर्याप्तक ईशान देवों के स्थान कहे गए हैं / (वे स्थान) तीनों अपेक्षाओं से लोक के असंख्यातवें भाग में हैं / शेष सब (वर्णन) सौधर्मक देवों के (सू. 197-1 में कथित) (वर्णन के) अनुसार यावत् विचरण करते हैं ('विहरंति') तक (समझना चाहिए।) [2] ईसाणे यऽत्य देविदे देवराया परिवसति सूलपाणी वसभवाहणे उत्तरड्ढलोगाधिवती अट्ठावीसविमाणावाससतसहस्साधिवती प्ररयंबरवत्थधरे सेसं जहा सक्कस्स (सु. 167 [2]) जाव पभासेमाणे। से णं तत्थ अट्ठावीसाए विमाणावाससतसहस्साणं असोतीए सामाणियसाहस्सोणं तायत्तीसाए तायत्तीसगाणं च उण्हं लोगपालाणं अटण्हं अग्गहिसीणं सपरिवाराणं तिण्हं परिसाणं सत्तण्हं अणियाणं सत्तरहं अणियाधिवतीणं चउण्हं असोतीणं प्राय रक्खदेवसाहस्सोणं अण्णेसि च बहूणं ईसाणकप्पवासीणं वेमाणियाणं देवाण य देवीण य आहेवच्चं पोरेवच्चं कुब्वमाणे जाव (सु. 166) विहरति / [198-2] इस ईशानकल्प में देवेन्द्र देवराज ईशान निवास करता है, जो शूलपाणि, वृषभवाहन, उत्तरार्द्धलोकाधिपति, अट्ठाईस लाख विमानावासों का अधिपति, रजरहित स्वच्छ वस्त्रों का धारक है; शेष वर्णन (सू. 197-2 में अंकित) शक्र के (वर्णन के) समान, यावत् 'प्रभासित करता हुआ' तक, (समझना चाहिए।) वह (ईशानेन्द्र) वहाँ अट्ठाईस लाख विमानावासों का, अस्सी हजार सामानिक देवों का, तेतीस त्रास्त्रिशक देवों का, चार लोकपालों का, आठ सपरिवार अग्रमहिषियों का, तीन परिषदों का, सात सेनाओं का, सात सेनाधिपति देवों का, चार अस्सी हजार, अर्थात्-तीन लाख बीस हजार प्रात्मरक्षक देवों का तथा अन्य बहुत-से ईशानकल्पवासी देवों और देवियों का आधिपत्य, अग्रेसरत्व करता हुआ, (आगे का सब वर्णन सू. 166 के अनुसार) यावत् 'विचरण करता है' तक (पूर्ववत् समझना चाहिए / ) 166.
