प्रथम प्रज्ञापनापद ] [79 80. से कि तं मउलिणो ? मउलिणो प्रगविहा पण्णत्ता। तं जहा-दिव्वागा गोणसा कसाहिया वइउला चित्तलिणो मंडलिणो मालिणो अही अहिसलागा वायपडागा, जे यावऽण्णे तहप्पगारा। से तं मउलिणो / से तं प्रही। [80 प्र.] वे (पूर्वोक्त) मुकुली (बिना फन वाले) सर्प कैसे होते हैं ?
