तृतीय प्रतिपत्ति धातकीखण्ड की वक्तव्यता] [35 हे भगवन् ! धातकीखण्डद्वीप का विजयद्वार कहां पर स्थित है ? गौतम ! धातकीखण्ड के पूर्वी दिशा के अन्त में और कालोदसमुद्र के पूर्वार्ध के पश्चिमदिशा में शीता महानदी के ऊपर धातकीखण्ड का विजयद्वार है / जम्बूद्वीप के विजयद्वार की तरह ही इसका प्रमाण आदि जानना चाहिए / इसकी राजधानी अन्य धातकीखण्डद्वीप में है, इत्यादि वर्णन जंबूद्वीप की विजया राजधानी के समान जानना चाहिए। इसी प्रकार विजयद्वार सहित चारों द्वारों का वर्णन समझना चाहिए। हे भगवन् ! धातकीखण्ड के एक द्वार से दूसरे द्वार का अपान्तराल अन्तर कितना है ? गौतम ! दस लाख सत्तावीस हजार सात सौ पैंतीस (1027735) योजन भोर तीन कोस का अपान्तराल अन्तर है।' (एक-एक द्वार की द्वारशाखा सहित मोटाई साढ़े चार योजन है। चार द्वारों की मोटाई 18 योजन हुई। धातकीखण्ड की परिधि 4110961 योजन में से 18 योजन कम करने से 4110943 योजन होते हैं। इनमें चार का भाग देने से एक-एक द्वार का उक्त अन्तर निकल प्राता है।) भगवन् ! धातकीखण्डद्वीप के प्रदेश कालोदधिसमुद्र से छुए हुए हैं क्या ? हां गौतम ! छुए भगवन् ! वे प्रदेश धातकीखण्ड के हैं या कालोदसमुद्र के ? गौतम ! वे प्रदेश धातकीखण्ड के हैं, कालोदसमुद्र के नहीं। इसी तरह कालोदसमुद्र के प्रदेशों के विषय में भी कहना चाहिए। भगवन् ! धातकीखण्ड से निकलकर (मरकर) जीव कालोदसमुद्र में पैदा होते हैं क्या? गौतम ! कोई जीव पैदा होते हैं, कोई जीव नहीं पैदा होते हैं। इसी तरह कालोदसमुद्र से निकलकर धातकीखण्डद्वीप में कोई जीव पैदा होते हैं और कोई नहीं पैदा होते हैं। भगवन् ! ऐसा क्यों कहा जाता है कि धातकीखण्ड, धातकीखण्ड है ? गौतम ! धातकीखण्डद्वीप में स्थान-स्थान पर यहां वहां धातकी के वृक्ष, धातकी के वन और धातकी के वनखण्ड नित्य कुसुमित रहते हैं यावत् शोभित होते हुए स्थित हैं, धातकी महाधातकी वृक्षों पर सुदर्शन और प्रियदर्शन नाम के दो महद्धिक पल्योपम स्थितिवाले देव रहते हैं, इस कारण धातकीखण्ड, धातकीखण्ड कहलाता है। गौतम! दूसरी बात यह है कि धातकीखण्ड नाम नित्य है / (द्रव्यापेक्षया नित्य और पर्यायापेक्षया अनित्य है) अतएव शाश्वत काल से उसका यह नाम अनिमित्तक है। भगवन् ! धातकीखण्डद्वीप में कितने चन्द्र प्रभासित हुए, होते हैं और होंगे? कितने सूर्य तपित होते थे, होते हैं और होंगे? कितने महाग्रह चलते थे, चलते हैं और चलेंगे ? कितने नक्षत्र चन्द्रादि से योग करते थे, योग करते हैं और योग करेंगे? और कितने कोडाकोडी तारागण शोभित होते थे, शोभित होते हैं और शोभित होंगे? 1. पणतीसा सत्त सया सत्तावीसा सहस्स दस लक्खा / धाइयखंडे दारंतरं तु अवरं कोसतियं // 1 //
