12] [जीवाजीवाभिगमसूत्र 159. (अ) हे भगवन् ! वेलंधर नागराज कितने कहे गये हैं ? गौतम ! वेलंधर नागराज चार कहे गये हैं, उनके नाम हैं गोस्तूप, शिवक, शंख और मनःशिलाक।। हे भगवन् ! इन चार वेलंधर नागराजों के कितने आवासपर्वत कहे गये हैं ? गौतम ! चार आवासपर्वत कहे गये हैं / उनके नाम हैं-गोस्तूप, उदकभास, शंख और दकसीम / हे भगवन् ! गोस्तूप वेलंधर नागराज का गोस्तूप नामक प्रावासपर्वत कहां है ? गौतम ! जम्बूद्वीप नामक द्वीप के मेरुपर्वत के पूर्व में लवणसमुद्र में बयालीस हजार योजन आगे जाने पर गोस्तूप वेलंधर नागराज का गोस्तूप नाम का आवासपर्वत है। वह सत्रह सौ इक्कीस (1721) योजन ऊँचा, चार सौ तीस योजन एक कोस पानो में गहरा, मूल में दस सौ बाईस (1022) योजन लम्बा-चौड़ा, बीच में सात सौ तेईस (723) योजन लम्बा-चौड़ा और ऊपर चार सौ चौबीस (424) योजन लम्बा-चौड़ा है। उसकी परिधि मूल में तीन हजार दो सौ बत्तीस (3232) योजन से कुछ कम, मध्य में दो हजार दो सौ चौरासी (2284) योजन से कुछ अधिक और ऊर हजार तीन सौ इकतालीस (1341) योजन से कुछ कम है / यह मूल में विस्तीर्ण मध्य में संक्षिप्त और ऊपर पतला है, गोपुच्छ के आकार से संस्थित है, सर्वात्मना कनकमय है, स्वच्छ है यावत् प्रतिरूप है। __ वह एक पद्मवरवेदिका और एक वनखंड से चारों ओर से परिवेष्टित है। दोनों का वर्णन कहना चाहिए। गोस्तूप आवासपर्वत के ऊपर बहुसमरमणीय भूमिभाग कहा गया है, प्रादि सब वर्णन पूर्ववत् जानना चाहिए यावत् वहां बहुत से नागकुमार देव और देवियां स्थित होती हैं। उस बहुसमरमणीय भूमिभाग के बहुमध्य देशभाग में एक बड़ा प्रासादावतंसक है जो साढ़े बासठ योजन ऊँचा है, सवा इकतीस योजन का लम्बा-चौड़ा है, आदि वर्णन विजयदेव के प्रासादावतंसक के समान जानना चाहिए यावत् सपरिवार सिंहासन का कथन करना चाहिए। हे भगवन् ! गोस्तूप आवासपर्वत, गोस्तूप आवासपर्वत क्यों कहा जाता है ? हे गौतम ! गोस्तूप आवासपर्वत पर बहुत-सी छोटी-छोटी बावड़ियां आदि हैं, जिनमें गोस्तूप वर्ण के बहुत सारे उत्पल कमल आदि हैं यावत् वहां गोस्तूप नामक महद्धिक और एक पल्योपम की स्थितिवाला देव रहता है। वह गोस्तप देव चार हजार सामानिक देवों यावत: गोस्तुप प्रावासपर्वत और गोस्तूपा राजधानी का आधिपत्य करता हुआ विचरता है / इस कारण वह गोस्तूप आवासपर्वत कहा जाता। यावत् वह गोस्तूपा आवासपर्वत (द्रव्य से) नित्य है / अतएव उसका यह नाम अनादिकाल से चला आ रहा है। हे भगवन् ! गोस्तूप देव की गोस्तूपा राजधानी कहां है ? हे गौतम ! गोस्तूप प्रावासपर्वत के पूर्व में तिर्यदिशा में असंख्यात द्वीप-समुद्र पार करने के बाद अन्य लवणसमुद्र में गोस्तूपा राजधानी है / उसका प्रमाण आदि वर्णन विजया राजधानी की तरह कहना चाहिए / भंते ! सिवगस्स वेलंधरणागरायस्स दोभासणामे आवासपव्वए पण्णते ? 159
