ततीय प्रतिपत्ति: सुधर्मा सभा का वर्णन] [391 उन मणिपीठिकानों के ऊपर अलग-अलग चैत्यवृक्ष कहे गये हैं। वे चैत्यवृक्ष पाठ योजन ऊँचे हैं, प्राधा योजन जमीन में हैं, दो योजन ऊँचा उनका स्कन्ध (धड़, तना) है, प्राधा योजन उस स्कन्ध का विस्तार है, मध्यभाग में ऊर्ध्व विनिर्गत शाखा (विडिमा) छह योजन ऊँची है, उस विडिमा का विस्तार अर्धयोजन का है, सब मिलाकर वे चैत्यवृक्ष पाठ योजन से कुछ अधिक ऊँचे हैं / / उन चैत्यवृक्षों का वर्णन इस प्रकार कहा है-उनके मूल वज्ररत्न के हैं, उनकी ऊर्ध्व विनिर्गत शाखाएँ रजत की हैं और सुप्रतिष्ठित हैं, उनका कन्द रिष्ट रत्नमय है, उनका स्कंध वैडूर्य रत्न का है और रुचिर है, उनकी मूलभूत विशाल शाखाएँ शुद्ध और श्रेष्ठ स्वर्ण की हैं, उनकी विविध शाखा-प्रशाखाएँ नाना मणिरत्नों की हैं, उनके पत्ते वैडूर्यरत्न के हैं, उनके पत्तों के वन्त तपनीय स्वर्ण के हैं / जम्बूनद जाति के स्वर्ण के समान लाल, मृदु, सुकुमार प्रवाल (पत्र के पूर्व की स्थिति) और पल्लव तथा प्रथम उगने वाले अंकूरों को धारण करने वाले है (अथवा उनके शिखर तथाविध प्रवालपल्लव-अंकुरों से सुशोभित हैं), उन चैत्यवृक्षों की शाखाएँ विचित्र मणिरत्नों के सुगन्धित फूल और फलों के भार से झुकी हुई हैं। वे चैत्यवृक्ष सुन्दर छाया वाले, सुन्दर कान्ति वाले, किरणों से युक्त और उद्योत करने वाले हैं / अमृतरस के समान उनके फलों का रस है / वे नेत्र और मन को अत्यन्त तृप्ति देने वाले हैं, प्रासादीय हैं, दर्शनीय हैं, अभिरूप हैं और प्रतिरूप हैं / वे चैत्यवक्ष अन्य बहुत से तिलक, लवंग, छत्रोपग, शिरीष, सप्तपर्ण, दधिपर्ण, लोध्र, धव, चन्दन, नीप, कुटज, कदम्ब, पनस, ताल, तमाल, प्रियाल, प्रियंगु, पारापत, राजवृक्ष और नन्दिवृक्षों से सब अोर से घिरे हुए हैं / वे तिलक यावत् नन्दिवृक्ष मूलवाले हैं, कन्दवाले हैं इत्यादि वृक्षों का वर्णन करना चाहिए यावत् वे सुरम्य हैं। वे तिलकवृक्ष यावत् नन्दिवृक्ष अन्य बहुत-सी पद्मलताओं यावत् श्यामलताओं से घिरे हुए हैं। वे पद्मलताएँ यावत् श्यामलताएँ नित्य कुसुमित रहती हैं। यावत् वे प्रतिरूप हैं। उन चैत्यवृक्षों के ऊपर बहुत से आठ-पाठ मंगल, ध्वजाएँ और छत्रों पर छत्र हैं। 137.
