तृतीय प्रतिपत्ति : जम्बूद्वीप के द्वारों की संख्या] [381 [135] (1) हे भगवन् ! विजयदेव की विजया नामक राजधानी कहाँ कही है ? गौतम ! विजयद्वार के पूर्व में तिरछे असंख्य द्वीप-समुद्रों को पार करने के बाद अन्य जंबूद्वीप' नाम के द्वीप में बारह हजार योजन जाने पर विजयदेव की विजया राजधानी है जो बारह हजार योजन की लम्बी-चौडो है तथा सैतोस हजार नौ सौ अडतालीस योजन से कुछ अधिक उसकी परिधि है। वह विजया राजधानी चारों ओर से एक प्राकार (परकोटे) से घिरी हुई है। वह प्राकार साढ़े सैंतीस योजन ऊँचा है, उसका विष्कंभ (चौड़ाई) मूल में साढे बारह योजन, मध्य में छह योजन एक कोस और ऊपर तीन योजन प्राधा कोस है ; इस तरह वह मूल में विस्तृत है, मध्य में संक्षिप्त है और ऊपर तनु (कम) है। वह बाहर से गोल अन्दर से चौकोन, गाय की पूंछ के आकार का है। वह सर्व स्वर्णमय है स्वच्छ है यावत् प्रतिरूप है। वह प्राकार नाना प्रकार के पांच वर्षों के कपिशीर्षकों (कंगूरों) से सुशोभित है, यथा-कृष्ण यावत् सफेद कंगूरों से / वे कंगूरे लम्बाई में प्राधा कोस, चौड़ाई में पांच सौ धनुष, ऊंचाई में कुछ कम आधा कोस हैं / वे कंगूरे सर्व मणिमय हैं, स्वच्छ हैं यावत् प्रतिरूप हैं। 135.
