326] [जीवाजीवामिगमसूत्र उपर्युक्त सब वैमानिकों के पर्याप्तक और अपर्याप्तक के रूप में दो-दो भेद हैं / उक्त रीति से भेदकथन के पश्चात् भवनवासी देवों के भवनों और उनके निवासों को लेकर प्रश्न किये गये हैं। इसके उत्तर में कहा गया है कि हम जिस पृथ्वी पर रहते हैं उस रत्नप्रभापृथ्वी का बाहल्य (मोटाई) एक लाख अस्सी हजार योजन का है / उसके एक हजार योजन के ऊपरी भाग को और एक हजार योजन के अघोवर्ती भाग को छोड़कर एक लाख अठहत्तर हजार योजन जितने भाग में भवनवासी देवों के 7 करोड़ और 72 लाख भवनावास हैं। दस प्रकार के भवनवासी देवों के भवनावासों की संख्या अलग-अलग इस प्रकार है 1. असुरकुमार के 64 लाख 2. नागकुमार के 84 लाख 3. सुपर्णकुमार के 72 लाख 4. विद्युतकुमार के 76 लाख 5. अग्निकुमार के 76 लाख 6. द्वीपकुमार के 76 लाख 7. उदधिकुमार के 76 लाख 8. दिक्कुमार के 76 लाख 9. पवनकुमार के 96 लाख 10. स्तनितकुमार के 76 लाख कुल मिलाकर भवनवासियों के सात करोड बहत्तर लाख भवनावास कहे गये हैं। वे भवन बाहर से गोल और भीतर से समचौरस तथा नीचे कमल की कणिका के आकार के हैं। उन भवनों के चारों ओर गहरी और विस्तीर्ण खाइयां और परिखाएँ खुदी हुई हैं, जिनका अन्तर स्पष्ट प्रतीत होता है / यथास्थान परकोटों, अटारियों, कपाटों, तोरणों और प्रतिद्वारों से वे सुशोभित हैं। वे भवन विविध यन्त्रों, शतनियों(महाशिलाओं या महायष्टियों, मूसलों, मुसंडियों आदि शस्त्रों से वेष्टित हैं / वे शत्रुओं द्वारा अयुध्य (युद्ध न करने योग्य) सदा जयशील, सदा सुरक्षित एवं अडतालीस कोठों से रचित, अडतालीस वनमालाओं में सुसज्जित, क्षेममय, शिवमय, किंकर देवों के दण्डों से उपरक्षित हैं। लोपने और पोतने से वे प्रशस्त हैं। उन पर गोशीर्षचन्दन और सरस रक्तचन्दन से पांचों अंगुलियों के छापे लगे हुए हैं। यथास्थान चंदन के कलश रखे हुए हैं। उनके तोरण प्रतिद्वार देश के भाग चंदन के घड़ों से सुशोभित होते हैं / वे भवन ऊपर से नीचे तक लटकती हुई लम्बी, विपुल एवं गोलाकार मालाओं से युक्त हैं तथा पंचरंग के ताजे सरस सुगंधित पुष्पों के उपचार से युक्त होते हैं। वे काले अगर, श्रेष्ठ चीड, लोबान तथा धूप की महकती हुई सुगंध से रमणीय, उत्तम सुगंधित होने से गंधबट्टी के समान लगते हैं। वे अप्सरागण के संघातों से व्याप्त, दिव्य वाद्यों के शब्दों से भली-भांति शब्दायमान, सर्वरत्नमय, स्वच्छ, स्निग्ध, कोमल, घिसे हुए, पौंछे हुए, रज से रहित, निर्मल, निष्पंक, प्रावरणरहित कान्ति वाले, प्रभायुक्त, श्रीसम्पन्न, किरणों से युक्त, उद्योत (शीतल प्रकाश) युक्त, प्रसन्न करने वाले, दर्शनीय, अभिरूप (अतिरमणीय) और प्रतिरूप (सुरूप) हैं।
