तृतीय प्रतिपत्ति : एकोएक द्वीप के पुरुषों का वर्णन] [303 वराह, सिंह, शार्दूल (व्याघ्र), बैल और हाथी के स्कंध की तरह प्रतिपूर्ण, विपुल और उन्नत हैं। उनकी ग्रीवा चार अंगुल प्रमाण और श्रेष्ठ शंख के समान है, उनको ठुड्ढी (होठों के नीचे का भाग) अवस्थित सदा एक समान रहने वाली, सुविभक्त-अलग-अलग सुन्दररूप से उत्पन्न दाढ़ी के बालों से युक्त, मांसल, सुन्दर संस्थान युक्त, प्रशस्त और व्याघ्र की विपुल ठुड्ढी के समान है, उनके होठ परिमित शिलाप्रवाल और बिंबफल के समान लाल हैं। उनके दांत सफेद चन्द्रमा के टुकड़ों जैसे विमल-निर्मल हैं और शंख, गाय का दूध, फेन, जलकण और मृणालिका के तंतुओं के समान सफेद हैं, उनके दांत अखण्डित होते हैं, टूटे हुए नहीं होते, अलग-अलग नहीं होते, वे सुन्दर दांत वाले हैं, उनके दांत अनेक होते हुए भी एक पंक्तिबद्ध हैं। उनकी जीभ और तालु अग्नि में तपाकर धोये गये और पुनः तप्त किये गये तपनीय स्वर्ण के समान लाल हैं। उनकी नासिका गरुड़ की नासिका जैसी लम्बी, सीधी और ऊँची होती है। उनकी आँखें सूर्यकिरणों से विकसित पुण्डरीक कमल जैसी होती हैं तथा वे खिले हुए श्वेतकमल जैसी कोनों पर लाल, बीच में काली और धवल तथा पश्मपुट वाली होती हैं। उनकी भौंहें ईषत् प्रारोपित धनुष के समान वक्र, रमणीय, कृष्ण मेघराजि की तरह काली, संगत (प्रमाणोपेत), दीर्घ, सुजात, पतली, काली और स्निग्ध होती हैं। उनके कान मस्तक के भाग तक कुछ-कुछ लगे हुए और प्रमाणोपेत हैं / वे सुन्दर कानों वाले हैं अर्थात् भलीप्रकार श्रवण करने वाले हैं। उनके कपोल (गाल) पीन और मांसल होते हैं / उनका ललाट नवीन उदित बालचन्द्र (अष्टमी के चांद) जैसा प्रशस्त, विस्तीर्ण और समतल होता है / उनका मुख पूर्णिमा के चन्द्रमा जैसा सौम्य होता है / उनका मस्तक छत्राकार और उत्तम होता है। उनका सिर धन-निबिड-सुबद्ध, प्रशस्त लक्षणों वाला, कुटाकार (पर्वतशिखर) की तरह उन्नत और पाषाण की पिण्डी की तरह गोल और मजबूत होता है। उनकी खोपड़ी की चमड़ी (केशान्तभूमि) दाडिम के फूल की तरह लाल, तपनीय सोने के समान निर्मल और सुन्दर होती है। उनके मस्तक के बाल खुले किये जाने पर भी शाल्मलि के फल की तरह घने और निविड होते हैं / वे बाल मृदु, निर्मल, प्रशस्त, सूक्ष्म, लक्षणयुक्त, सुगंधित, सुन्दर, भुजभोजक (रत्नविशेष), नीलमणि (मरकतमणि), भंवरी, नील और काजल के समान काले, हर्षित भ्रमरों के समान अत्यन्त काले, स्निग्ध और निचित-जमे हुए होते हैं, वे धुंघराले और दक्षिणावर्त होते हैं। वे मनुष्य लक्षण, व्यंजन और गुणों से युक्त होते हैं। वे सुन्दर और सुविभक्त स्वरूप वाले होते हैं। वे प्रसन्नता पैदा करने वाले, दर्शनीय, अभिरूप और प्रतिरूप होते हैं। ये मनुष्य हंस जैसे स्वर वाले, क्रौंच जैसे स्वर वाले, नंदी (बारह वाद्यों का समिश्रित स्वर) जैसे घोष करने वाले, सिंह के समान स्वर वाले और गर्जना करने वाले, मधुर स्वर वाले, मधुर घोष वाले, सुस्वर वाले, सुस्वर और सुघोष वाले, अंग-अंग में कान्ति वाले, वज्रऋषभनाराचसंहनन वाले, समचतुरस्रसंस्थान वाले, स्निग्धछवि वाले, रोगादि रहित, उत्तम प्रशस्त अतिशययुक्त और निरुपम शरीर वाले, स्वेद (पसीना) आदि मैल के कलंक से रहित और स्वेद-रज आदि दोषों से रहित शरीर वाले, उपलेप से रहित, अनुकूल वायु वेग वाले, कंक पक्षी की तरह निर्लेप गुदाभाग वाले, कबूतर की तरह सब पचा लेने वाले, पक्षी की तरह मलोत्सर्ग के लेप से रहित अपानदेश वाले, सुन्दर पृष्टभाग, उदर और जंघा वाले, उन्नत और मुष्टिग्राह्य कुक्षि वाले और पद्मकमल और उत्पलकमल जैसी सुगंधयुक्त श्वासोच्छ्वास से सुगंधित मुख वाले वे मनुष्य हैं।
