तृतीय प्रतिपत्ति : लेश्यादिद्वार] [239 भगवन् ! इस रत्नप्रभापृथ्वी के नैरयिकों के शरीर की गन्ध कैसी कही गई है ? गौतम ! जैसे कोई मरा हुआ सर्प हो, इत्यादि पूर्ववत् कथन करना चाहिए। सप्तमीपृथ्वी तक के नारकों की गन्ध इसी प्रकार जाननी चाहिए। भगवन् ! इस रत्नप्रभापृथ्वी के नैरयिकों के शरीरों का स्पर्श कैसा कहा गया है ? गौतम ! उनके शरीर को चमड़ी फटी हुई होने से तथा झुरिया होने से कान्तिरहित है, कर्कश है, कठोर है, छेद वाली है और जली हुई वस्तु की तरह खुरदरी है / (पकी हुई ईंट की तरह खुरदरे शरीर हैं) / इसी प्रकार सप्तमपृथ्वी तक कहना चाहिए / विवेचन–इनका विवेचन पूर्व में किया जा चुका है। 58. [1] इमीसे णं भंते ! रयणप्पभाए पुढवीए रइयाणं केरिसया पोग्गला उसासत्ताए परिणमंति? गोयमा ! जे पोग्गला अणिवा जाव अमणामा ते तेसि उसासत्ताए परिणमंति / एवं जाव अहेसत्तमाए / एवं आहारस्सवि सत्तसु वि / [8] (1) भगवन् ! इस रत्नप्रभापृथ्वी के नैरयिकों के श्वासोच्छ्वास के रूप में कैसे पुद्गल परिणत होते हैं ? गौतम ! जो पुद्गल अनिष्ट यावत् अमणाम होते हैं वे नैरयिकों के श्वासोच्छ्वास के रूप में परिणत होते हैं। इसी प्रकार सप्तमपृथ्वी तक के नरयिकों का कथन करना चाहिए। इसी प्रकार जो पुद्गल अनिष्ट एवं अमणाम होते हैं, वे नैरयिकों के पाहार रूप में परिणत होते हैं / ऐसा ही कथन रत्नप्रभादि सातों नरकपृथ्वियों के नारकों के सम्बन्ध में जानना चाहिए। लेश्याविद्वार 88.
