तृतीय प्रतिपत्ति: रत्नप्रभादि में द्रव्यों की सत्ता] [205 हाँ, गौतम ! हैं। इसी प्रकार अस्सी हजार योजन बाहल्य वाले अप्बहुल काण्ड में भी पूर्वविशिष्ट द्रव्यादि हैं। भगवन् ! इस रत्नप्रभापृथ्वी के बीस हजार योजन बाहल्य वाले और बुद्धि से विभक्त घनोदधि में पूर्व विशेषण वाले द्रव्य हैं ? हां, गौतम ! हैं। _ इसी प्रकार असंख्यात हजार योजन बाहल्य वाले घनवात और तनुवात में तथा आकाश में भी उसी प्रकार द्रव्य हैं। हे भगवन् ! एक लाख बत्तीस हजार योजन बाहल्य वाली और बुद्धि द्वारा प्रतरादि रूप में विभक्त शर्कराप्रभा पृथ्वी में पूर्व विशेषणों से विशिष्ट द्रव्य यावत् परस्पर सम्बद्ध हैं क्या ? हाँ, गौतम ! हैं। इसी तरह बीस हजार योजन बाहल्य वाले घनोदधि, असंख्यात हजार योजन बाहल्य वाले घनवात और आकाश के विषय में भी समझना चाहिए। शर्कराप्रभा की तरह इसी क्रम से सप्तम पृथ्वी तक वक्तव्यता समझनी चाहिए। विवेचन–प्रस्तुत सूत्र में सातों नरकपृथ्वियों में, रत्नप्रभापृथ्वी के तीनों काण्डों में, घनोदधियों में, घनवातों में, तनुवातों में और अवकाशान्तरों में द्रव्यों की सत्ता का कथन किया गया है। सब जगह वर्ण, गन्ध, रस, स्पर्श और संस्थान की अपेक्षा विविध पर्यायों में परिणत द्रव्यों का सद्भाव बताया गया है / प्रश्नोत्तर का क्रम इस प्रकार है ___ सर्वप्रथम रत्नप्रभापृथ्वी में द्रव्यों का सद्भाव कहा है। इसके बाद क्रमशः खरकाण्ड, रत्नकाण्ड से लेकर रिष्टकाण्ड तक, पुंकबहुलकाण्ड, अपबहुलकाण्ड, घनोदधि, धनवात, तनुवात, अवकाशान्तरों में द्रव्यों का सद्भाव कहा है। इसके पश्चात् शर्करापृथ्वी में, उसके घनोदधि-धनवात-तनुवात और अवकाशान्तरों में द्रव्यों का सद्भाव बताया है। शर्करापृथ्वी की तरह ही सातों पृथ्वियों की वक्तव्यता कही है। सूत्र में आये हुए 'अन्नमन्नबद्धाई' आदि पदों का अर्थ इस प्रकार हैअन्नमन्नबद्धाइं–एक दूसरे से सम्बन्धित / अन्नमन्नपुटाई--एक दूसरे को स्पर्श किये हुए-छुए हुए। अन्नमन्नोगाढाई-जहाँ एक द्रव्य रहा है, वहीं देश या सर्व से दूसरे द्रव्य भी रहे हुए हैं / अन्नमनसिणेहपडिबद्धाइं-स्नेह गुण के कारण परस्पर मिले हुए रहते हैं, जिससे एक के चलायमान होने पर दूसरा भी चलित होता है, एक के गृहीत होने पर दूसरा भी गृहीत होता है। अन्नमनघडताए चिट्ठति-क्षीर-नीर की तरह एक दूसरे में प्रगाढरूप से मिले हुए या समुदित रहते हैं।
