[१३३, कातकर दीर्घ सूत्र बनाता है या बनाने वाले का अनुमोदन करता है । (उसे लघुमासिक प्रायश्चित्त आता है ।)
विवेचन-"दोहसुत्तं नाम कत्तति" दीर्घ सूत्र का अर्थ है कातना अर्थात् कपास को “तकली, चर्खा" अादि से कातना ।
भाष्य गाथा सुतत्थे पलिमंथो, उड्डाहो झुसिर दोस सम्महो।
हत्थोवाघय संचय, पसंग आदाण गमणं च ॥ १९६६ ॥ इस गाथा में कातने के दोषों का संग्रह किया गया है । कातना गृहस्थ का कार्य है, इसे करने से साधु की होलना होती है । मच्छर आदि जीवों की विराधना होती है, अधिक कातने पर हाथ आदि शरीर के अवयवों में थकान आ जाती है । कातने से बुनने की प्रवृत्ति भी प्रचलित हो सकती है।
____ संग्रह आदि दोषों की भी सम्भावना रहती है । इस प्रकार इस गाथा में आत्मविराधना और संयमविराधना बताई है।
