अट्ठारसमुहुत्ते दिवसे भवइ, जहणिया दुवालसमुहुत्ता राई भवइ।
तंसि च दिवसंसि एक्काणउइ जोयणसहस्साई तावक्खेत्ते पण्णत्ते। ___ता जया णं सूरिए सव्वबाहिरं मंडलं उवसंकमित्ता चारं चरइ, तया णं उत्तमकट्ठपत्ता उक्कोसिया अट्ठारसमुहुत्ता राई भवइ, जहण्णए दुवालसमुहुत्ते दिवसे भवइ। तंसि च णं दिवसंसि एगट्ठिजोयणसहस्साई तावक्खेत्ते पण्णत्ते। तया णं छ वि, पंच वि, चत्तारि वि जोयणसहस्साई सूरिए एगमेगेणं मुहुत्तेणं गच्छइ, एगे एवमाहंसु ।
वयं पुण एवं वयामो - ता साइरेगाइं पंच पंच जोयणसहस्साई सूरिए एगमेगेणं मुहुत्तेणं गच्छइ। . प्र. - तत्थ को हेऊ ? त्ति वएजा।
उ. - ता अयण्णं जंबुद्दीवे दीवे सव्वदीव-समुद्दाणं सव्वब्भंतराए सव्वखुड्डागे वट्टे जाव जोयणसयसहस्समायाम-विक्खंभेणं, तिनि जोयणसहस्साई दोनि य सत्तावीसे जोयणसए तिन्नि कोसे, अट्ठावीसं च धणुसयं, तेरस य अंगुलाई, अद्धंगुलं च किंचिविसेसाहिए परिक्खेवेणं पण्णत्ते।
ता जया णं सूरिए सव्वब्भंतरं मंडलं उवसंकमित्ता चारं चरइ, तया णं पंच पंच जोयणसहस्साई दोण्णि य एक्कावण्णे जोयणसयाई एगूणतीसं च सट्ठिभाए जोयणस्स एगमेगेणं मुहुत्तेणं गच्छइ।
तया णं इहगयस्स मणूसस्स सीयालीसाए जोयणसहस्सेहिं दोहि य तेवढेहिं जोयणसएहिं एक्कवीसाए य सट्ठिभागेहिं जोयणस्स सूरिए चक्खुप्फासं हव्वमागच्छइ।
तया उत्तमकट्ठपत्ते उक्कोसए अट्ठारसमुहुत्ते दिवसे भवइ, जहणिया दुवालसमुहुत्ता राई भवइ।
से निक्खममाणे सूरिए णवं संवच्डरं अयमाणे पढमंसि अहोरत्तंसि अभिंतराणंतरं मंडलं उवसंकमित्ता चारं चरइ।
ता जया णं सूरिए अब्धेितराणंतरं मंडलं उवसंकमित्ता चारं चरइ, तया णं पंच पंच जोयणसहस्साई दोण्णि य एक्कावण्णे जोयणसए सीयालीसं च सट्ठिभाए जोयणस्स एगमेगेणं मुहुत्तेणं गच्छइ।
तया णं इहगयस्स मणूसस्स सीयालीसाए जोयणसहस्सेहिं एगूणासिए य जोयणसए सत्तावण्णाए सट्ठिभागेहिं जोयणस्स सट्ठिभागं च एगट्ठिहा छेत्ता एगूणवीसाए चुण्णिआभागेहिं सूरिए चक्खुप्फासं हव्वमागच्छइ।
तया णं अट्ठारसमुहुत्ते दिवसे भवइ, दोहिं एगट्ठिभाग मुहुत्तेहिं ऊणे। दुवालसमुहुत्ता राई भवइ दोहिं एगट्ठिभागमुहुत्तेहिं अहिया। से निक्खममाणे सूरिए दोच्चंसि अहोरत्तंसि अभिंतरं तच्चं मंडलं उवसंकमित्ता चारं चरइ।
