In the essence of the Dharma, the importance of religious discussions has always been paramount. Therefore, in these discussions, 'folk wisdom and folk thinking' have also been given importance. One such essential practice has supreme spiritual significance, and that is:
"O Venerable! Is there any place in this vast universe where this soul has not gone or will not go?" "No, it is not so, O Venerable!" "How is it so, O Venerable?" "It is said, O Venerable, that there is no place in this vast universe where this soul has not gone or will not go."
"Suppose, O Venerable, a man were to travel for a thousand years, and in that time he were to pluck out one hair, two hairs, or three hairs, and were to throw them away. Then, O Venerable, the people of that city, the inhabitants of that city, would pluck out one hair, two hairs, or three hairs, and throw them away for six months. Is there, O Venerable, any place in that man's journey where there would not be a single atom of dust that would not be touched by his hair, his breath, his play, his roar, his walk, his bile, his feces, his urine, his blood, his skin, his hair, his horns, his hooves, his nails, or his sweat?" "No, it is not so, O Venerable!"

"And in this vast universe, O Venerable, there is no place where the soul has not gone or will not go, where the world is not without beginning, where the soul is not eternal, where there is no abundance of karma, where there is no abundance of birth and death."
"Therefore, O Venerable, it is said that there is no place in this vast universe where this soul has not gone or will not go."
- Viya. S. 12, U. 7, Su. 3/1-2.
That is to say, there is no place in this world where the soul has not been born and died many times. In the world where humans are born, through self-knowledge, they begin to think, "In every part of this world, I have been born and died many times. Therefore, I must be liberated from this cycle of birth and death." This awareness makes them familiar with various virtues and vices, good deeds and bad deeds, and by understanding their nature, they become determined to abstain from bad deeds and engage in good deeds, thus securing their safe destination. If the scriptures did not describe the entire world and the islands, etc., located on the earth, the soul would remain ignorant of its own nature and would not be able to achieve liberation.
