[Surya Prajnapti Sutra]
**Sutra 11:** The rate of loss and gain is 2/61 parts of a Muhurta.
**First Prabhrut, First Prabhrut-Prabhrut ends.**
**Third Prabhrut-Prabhrut:** The meaning cannot be understood because the 'Sayamegam Choyalam' gatha is incomplete. The remaining part is a separate section. Thus, Shri Aamolak Rishiji has written in the language of Surya Prajnapti, and even with the commentary by Malayagiri, the actual mathematics does not come to 144. Those who have knowledge of the mathematical process, if they are kind enough to explain, it will be considered a service to the scriptures.
**First Prabhrut, Third Prabhrut-Prabhrut ends.**
**Sutra 15:** The difference in the time of movement of the two Suns (Bharat and Eravata)
During their movement, there is a difference of 5 yojanas and 35/61 parts in each mandala between the two Suns. When both Suns are present in the innermost mandala, there is a difference of 99640 yojanas between them.
The Jambudvipa region is one lakh yojanas in diameter. Each Sun travels 180 yojanas in its descent.
Out of 100000 yojanas, the descent area of both Suns is 180 and 180 yojanas, totaling 360 yojanas. Subtracting this from 100000 yojanas, 99640 yojanas remain, which is the difference between the two Suns present in the innermost mandala.
There are 183 differences in the 184 solar mandalas, and there is a difference of 2 yojanas and 48/61 parts from one mandala to the next. Therefore, when the Sun moves from one mandala to another, the difference between the two mandalas on both sides, when added together (2 yojanas 48/61 and 2 yojanas 48/61), becomes 5 yojanas and 35/61 parts.
The difference between the two Suns present in the outermost mandala:
The difference between the two Suns in each mandala is 5 yojanas and 35/61 parts, as explained earlier. The outermost mandala is the 183rd from the innermost mandala. Multiplying 183 by 5 yojanas and 35/61 parts, we get 3434°, which comes to 1020 yojanas. Adding this 1020 yojanas difference to 99640, we get 100660 yojanas, which is the difference between the two Suns present in the outermost mandala.
**Sutra 15**
**First Prabhrut, Fourth Prabhrut-Prabhrut ends.**
**The Sun's movement area in one day and night:**
The Sun travels 2 yojanas and 48/61 parts in one day and night. In 183 days, the Sun travels 510 yojanas...
