The devis (goddesses) along with him (the sun god) are surrounded, singing and playing the mahathahana-gita-vayika-tala-tala-tudiya-ghana-muinga (musical instruments), emitting divine sounds, enjoying the divine pleasures, residing solely by the power of their retinue. The chief queens of the sun, the devis, are the ornaments of the sun's retinue.
