## The Tenth Prabhruta [Eighteenth Prabhruta-Prabhruta]
In one Yuga, the number of solar and lunar cycles is 52. P.K. How are these cycles? Answer: There are two types of cycles here, as follows: 1. Solar cycles, 2. Lunar cycles. P.K. How are the lunar cycles? Answer: In a Yuga of five years,
1. The moon joins with the Abhijit Nakshatra for 77 cycles,
2. The moon joins with the Savana Nakshatra for 77 cycles, and so on, until 3-28. The moon joins with the Uttara Ashadha Nakshatra for 77 cycles. P.K. How are the solar cycles? Answer: In a Yuga of five years,
1. The sun joins with the Abhijit Nakshatra for five cycles, and so on, until 2-28. The sun joins with the Uttara Ashadha Nakshatra for five cycles.
"We say this - all the Nakshatras from Abhijit to Uttara Ashadha are established, as follows: Abhijit, Savana, until Uttara Ashadha."
The commentary by Malayagiri Suri on this is as follows:
The beginning of the Yuga starts on the first day of the bright fortnight of Shravana month, when the moon joins with the Abhijit Nakshatra at the time of the Balavakarna. This is stated in the Jyotish Karndaka:
"On the first day of the bright fortnight of Shravana month, the moon joins with the Abhijit Nakshatra."
"In all cases, the beginning of the Yuga is considered to be the time of the moon's conjunction." This is stated by Bharata, the great scholar. Thus, the Nakshatras from Abhijit onwards are established, considering the moon's conjunction as the beginning of all specific times.
Here, the Nakshatras from Krittika to Bharani are considered to be the first by the early Tirthankaras. According to their view, this Prabhruta-Prabhruta is seen. This is not the view of the Bhagavan, as it is clear that in this seventeenth Prabhruta-Prabhruta, the Bhagavan's form cannot be established. This is enough elaboration.
