He joins with the moon, then afterwards with the *rātri*,
Thus, the *puvvāsāḍhā* constellation joins with the moon for one day and one *rātri*,
Joining, joining, *aṇu-pariyatṭa*,

He who has *aṇu-pariyatṭita* reaches the moon in *uttarāsāḍhā* at the end.
27. Now, in the *uttarāsāḍhā* constellation, in both parts of the day and night, for forty-two *muhūrta* in the *tappiḍhamaya*, he joins with the moon, then afterwards with the *rātri*, then afterwards with the day,
Thus, the *uttarāsāḍhā* constellation joins with the moon for two days and one *rātri*,
Joining, joining, *aṇu-pariyatṭa*,
He who has *aṇu-pariyatṭita* reaches the moon in *abhijit* in the evening.
