## Surya Prajnapti Sutra (Chapter 10-15)
**10.** Now, in the Rohini Nakshatra, in the eastern half of the sky, the moon joins with the sun for forty-five Muhurtas, plus a fraction, and then there is a night, and then a day. Thus, in the Rohini Nakshatra, the moon joins with the sun for two days and one night.
When the moon joins, it then moves on.
When it moves on, the moon sets in the Mrigashira Nakshatra.
**11.** Now, in the Mrigashira Nakshatra, in the western half of the sky, the moon joins with the sun for thirty Muhurtas, plus a fraction, and then there is a night, and then a day. Thus, in the Mrigashira Nakshatra, the moon joins with the sun for one night and one day.
When the moon joins, it then moves on.
When it moves on, the moon sets in the Ardra Nakshatra.
**12.** Now, in the Ardra Nakshatra, in the middle of the night, the moon joins with the sun for fifteen Muhurtas, plus a fraction, and then there is no day. Thus, in the Ardra Nakshatra, the moon joins with the sun for one night.
When the moon joins, it then moves on.
When it moves on, the moon sets in the Punarvasu Nakshatra.
**13.** Now, in the Punarvasu Nakshatra, in the eastern half of the sky, the moon joins with the sun for forty-five Muhurtas, plus a fraction, and then there is a night, and then a day. Thus, in the Punarvasu Nakshatra, the moon joins with the sun for two days and one night.

When it moves on, the moon sets in the Pushya Nakshatra.
