[१७९ अपने सहोदर भाई हल्ल और विहल्ल से हार और सेचनक हाथी को छीनने के लिए इसने नाना चेटक से भयंकर युद्ध भी किया था। कोणिक-चेटक युद्ध प्रसिद्ध है। (४) चेल्लणा
राजा श्रेणिक की रानी और वैशाली के अधिपति चेटक राजा की पुत्री।
चेल्लणा सुन्दरी, गुणवती, बुद्धिमती, धर्म-प्राणा नारी थी। श्रेणिक राजा को धार्मिक बनाने में, जैनधर्म के प्रति अनुरक्त करने में चेल्लणा का बहुत बड़ा योग था।
चेल्लणा का राजा श्रेणिक के प्रति कितना प्रगाढ़ अनुराग था, इसका प्रमाण 'निरयावलिका' में मिलता है। कोणिक, हल्ल और विहल्ल ये तीनों चेल्लणा के पुत्र थे। (५) जम्बूस्वामी

जम्बू राजगृह नगर के समृद्ध, वैभवशाली-इभ्य-सेठ के पुत्र थे। पिता का नाम ऋषभदत्त और माता का नाम धारिणी था। जम्बूकुमार की माता ने जम्बूकुमार के जन्म से पूर्व स्वप्न में जम्बू वृक्ष देखा था, इसी कारण पुत्र का नाम जम्बूकुमार रखा।
. सुधर्मा की वाणी से जम्बूकुमार के मन में वैराग्य जागा। परन्तु माता-पिता के अत्यन्त आग्रह से विवाह की स्वीकृति दी। आठ इभ्य-वर सेठों की कन्याओं के साथ जम्बूकुमार का विवाह हो गया।
जिस समय जम्बूकुमार अपनी आठ नवविवाहिता पत्नियों को प्रतिबोध दे रहे थे, उस समय एक चोर चोरी करने को आया। उसका नाम प्रभव था। जम्बूकुमार की वैराग्यपूर्ण वाणी सुनकर वह भी प्रतिबुद्ध हो गया।
__५०१ चोर, ८ पत्नियां, पत्नियों के १६ माता-पिता, स्वयं के माता-पिता और स्वयं जम्बूकुमार इस प्रकार ५२८ ने एक साथ सुधर्मा के पास दीक्षा ग्रहण की।
जम्बूकुमार १६ वर्ष गृहस्थ में रहे, २० वर्ष छद्मस्थ रहे, ४४ वर्ष केवली पर्याय में रहे। ८० वर्ष की आयु भोग कर जम्बूस्वामी अपने पाट पर प्रभव को छोड़कर सिद्ध, बुद्ध और मुक्त हुए। (६) जमालि
वैशाली के क्षत्रियकुण्ड का एक राजकुमार था। एक बार भगवान् क्षत्रियकुण्ड ग्राम में पधारे, जमालि भी उपदेश सुनने को आया।
वापिस घर लौट कर जमालि ने अपने माता-पिता से दीक्षा की अनुमति मांगी। माता घबरा उठी, वह मूछित हो गई।
जमालि के माता-पिता उसको उसके संकल्प से हटा नहीं सके। अपनी आठ पत्नियों का त्याग करके उसने पांच सौ क्षत्रिय कुमारों के साथ भगवान् के पास दीक्षा ली।
