दो लाखवें समवाय का प्रथम सूत्र - 'लवणे णं समुद्दे.......' है तो जीवाभिगम ५ २१ में भी लवणसमुद्र का चक्रवाल- विष्कम्भ दो लाख योजन का बताया है।
चार लाखवें समवाय का प्रथम सूत्र
धायइखंडे णं दीवे......' है तो जीवाभिगम २२ में भी धातकीखण्ड का चक्रवाल- विष्कम्भ चार लाख योजन का बताया है।
पाँच लाखवें समवाय का प्रथम सूत्र - ' लवणस्स णं समुद्दस्स....' है तो जीवाभिगम ५२३ में भी लवणसमुद्र के पूर्वी चरमान्त से पश्चिमी चरमान्त का अव्यवहित अन्तर पांच लाख योजन का बतलाया है।
इस तरह जीवाभिगम में समवायांग में आये अनेक विषयों की प्रतिध्वनि स्पष्ट सुनाई देती है।
समवायांग और प्रज्ञापना
प्रज्ञापना चतुर्थ उपांग है। प्रज्ञापना का अर्थ है- जीव, अजीव का निरूपण करने वाला शास्त्र । आचार्य मलयगिरि प्रज्ञापना को समवाय का उपांग मानते हैं। प्रज्ञापना का समवायांग के साथ कब से सम्बन्ध स्थापित हुआ, यह अनुसन्धान का विषय है। स्वयं श्मामाचार्य प्रज्ञापना को दृष्टिवाद से लिया सूचित करते हैं। किन्तु आज दृष्टिवाद अनुपलब्ध है। इसलिए स्पष्ट नहीं कहा जा सकता कि दृष्टिवाद में से कितनी सामग्री इसमें ली गई है। दृष्टिवाद में मुख्य रूप से दृष्टि याने दर्शन का ही वर्णन है। समवायांग में भी मुख्य रूप से जीव अजीव आदि तत्त्वों का प्रतिपादन है। तो प्रज्ञापना में भी वही निरूपण है। अतः प्रज्ञापना को समवायांग का उपांग मानने में किसी प्रकार की बाधा नहीं है। अतएव समवायांग में आये हुए विषयों की तुलना प्रज्ञापना के साथ सहज रूप से की जा सकती है।

प्रथम समवाय का पाँचवाँ सूत्र है- 'एगा किरिया' तो प्रज्ञापना ५२४ में भी क्रिया का निरूपण हुआ है। प्रथम समवाय का बीसवां सूत्र - - 'अप्पइट्ठाणे नरए...... है तो प्रज्ञापना १२५ में भी अप्रतिष्ठान नरक का आयाम-विष्कम्भ प्रतिपादित है
प्रथम समवाय का बावीसवाँ सूत्र सव्वट्ठसिद्धे महाविमाणे... 'सव्वट्ठसिद्धे महाविमाणे....... ' है तो प्रज्ञापना १२६ में भी सर्वार्थसिद्ध विमान का आयाम - विष्कम्भ एक लाख योजन का बताया है।

प्रथम समवाय का छब्बीसवाँ सूत्र – 'इमीसे णं रयणप्पहाए णं.....' है तो प्रज्ञापना १२७ में भी रत्नप्रभा के कुछ नारकों की स्थिति एक पल्योपम की बतायी है।
प्रथम समवाय के सत्तावीसवें सूत्र से लेकर चालीसवें सूत्र तक जो वर्णन है वह प्रज्ञापना २८ के चतुर्थ पद में उसी तरह से प्राप्त होता है।
