[समवायाङ्गसूत्र पञ्चपञ्चाशत्स्थानक-समवाय २९३-मल्लिस्सणं अरहओ [मल्ली णं अरहा] पणवण्णं वाससहस्साइं परमाउं पालइत्ता सिद्धे बुद्धे जाव सव्वदुक्खपहीणे।
मल्ली अर्हन् पचपन हजार वर्ष की परमायु भोग कर सिद्ध, बुद्ध, कर्मों से मुक्त, परिनिर्वाण को प्राप्त और सर्व दुःखों से रहित हुए।
२९४-मंदरस्स णं पव्वयस्स पञ्चथिमिल्लाओ चरमंताओ विजयदारस पच्चस्थिमिल्ले चरमंते एस णं पणवण्णं जोयणसहस्साइं अबाहाए अंतरे पण्णत्ते। एवं चाउद्दिसिं पि विजयवेजयंत-जयंत-अपराजियं ति।
मन्दर पर्वत के पश्चिम चरमान्त भाग से पूर्वी विजयद्वार के पश्चिमी चरमान्त भाग का अन्तर पचपन हजार योजन का कहा गया है। इसी प्रकार चारों ही दिशाओं में विजय, वैजयन्त, जयन्त और अपराजित द्वारों का अन्तर जानना चाहिए।
२९५. समणे णं भगवं महावीरे अंतिमराइयंसि पणवण्णं अज्झयणाइंकल्लाणफलविवागाई पणवण्णं अज्झयणाइं पावफलविवागाइं वागरित्ता सिद्धे बुद्धे जाव सव्वदुक्खप्पहीणे।
श्रमण भगवान् महावीर अन्तिम रात्रि में पुण्य-फल विपाकवाले पचपन और पाप-फल विपाकवाले पचपन-अध्ययनों का प्रतिपादन करके सिद्ध, बुद्ध, कर्मों से मुक्त, परिनिर्वाण को प्राप्त और सर्व दुःखों से रहित हुए।
२९६. पढम-बिइयासु दोसु पुढवीसु पणवण्णं निरयावाससयसहस्सा पण्णत्ता। पहली और दूसरी इन दो पृथिवियों में पचपन (३०+२५=५५) लाख नारकवास कहे गये हैं।
२९७.दंसणावरणिज्ज-नामाउयाणं तिण्हं कम्मपगडीणं पणवण्णं उत्तरपगडीओ पण्णत्ताओ।
दर्शनावरणीय, नाम और आयु इन तीन कर्मप्रकृतियों की मिलाकर पचपन उत्तर प्रकृतियां (९+४२+४=५५) कही गई हैं।

षट्पञ्चाशत्स्थानक-समवाय २९८.जंबुद्दीवेणं दीवे छप्पन्नं नक्खत्ता चंदेण सद्धिं जोगं जोइंसुवा, जोइंति वा, जोइस्संति वा।
जम्बूद्वीप नामक इस द्वीप में दो चन्द्रमाओं के परिवारवाले (२८+२८-५६) छप्पन नक्षत्र चन्द्र के साथ योग करते थे, योग करते हैं और योग करेंगे।
२९९. विमलस्स णं अरहओ छप्पनं गणा छप्पन्नं गणहरा होत्था। विमल अर्हत् के छप्पन गण और छप्पन गणधर थे।
