[समवायाङ्गसूत्र एकोनपञ्चाशत्स्थानक-समवाय २७४-सत्त-सत्तमियाए णं भिक्खुपडिमाए एगूणपन्नाए राइंदिएहिं छन्नउइभिक्खासएणं अहासुत्तं जाव [ अहाकप्पं अहातच्चं सम्मं काएण फासित्ता पालित्ता सोहित्ता तीरित्ता किट्टित्ता आणाए अणुपालित्ता] आराहिया भवइ।
___ सप्त-सप्तमिका भिक्षुप्रतिमा उनचास रात्रि-दिवसों से और एक सौ छियानवै भिक्षाओं से यथासूत्र यथामार्ग से [यथाकल्प से, यथातत्त्व से, सम्यक् प्रकार काय से स्पर्श कर पाल कर, शोधन कर, पार कर, कीर्बन कर आज्ञा से अनुपालन कर] आराधित होती है।
विवेचन-सात-सात दिन के सात सप्ताह जिस अभिग्रह-विशेष की आराधना में लगते हैं, उसे सप्त-सप्तमिका भिक्षु प्रतिमा कहते हैं । उसकी विधि संस्कृतटीकाकार ने दो प्रकार से कही है। प्रथम प्रकार के अनुसार प्रथम सप्ताह में प्रतिदिन एक-एक भिक्षादत्ति की वृद्धि से अट्ठाईस भिक्षाएं होती हैं। इसी प्रकार द्वितीयादि सप्ताह में भी प्रतिदिन एक-एक भिक्षादत्ति की वृद्धि से सब एक सौ छियानवै भिक्षाएं होती हैं। अथवा प्रथम सप्ताह के सातों दिनों में एक-एक भिक्षादत्ति ग्रहण करते हैं। दूसरे सप्ताह के सातों दिनों में दो-दो भिक्षादत्ति ग्रहण करते हैं । इस प्रकार प्रतिसप्ताह एक-एक भिक्षादत्ति के बढ़ने से सातों सप्ताहों की समस्त भिक्षाएं एक सौ छियानवै (७+१४+२१+२८+३५+४२+४९=१९६) हो जाती हैं।
२७५-देवकुरु-उत्तरकुरुएसुणं मणुया एगूणपण्णास-राइंदिएहिं संपन्नजोव्वणा भवंति। देवकुरु ओर उत्तरकुरु में मनुष्य उनंचास रात-दिनों में पूर्ण यौवन से सम्पन्न हो जाते हैं। २७६ – तेइंदियाणं उक्कोसेणं एगूणपण्णं राइंदिया ठिई। त्रीन्द्रिय जीवों की उत्कृष्ट स्थिति उनचास रात-दिन की कही गई है।

पञ्चाशत्स्थानक-समवाय २७७-मुणिसुव्वयस्स णं अरहओ पंचासं अज्जियासाहस्सीओ होत्था। अणंते णं अरहा पन्नासं धणूई उड़े उच्चत्तेणं होत्था। पुरिसुत्तमे णं वासुदेवे पन्नासं धणूई उड़े उच्चत्तेणं होत्था।
मुनिसुव्रत अर्हत् के संघ में पचास हजार आर्यिकाएं थीं। अनन्तनाथ अर्हत् पचास धनुष ऊंचे थे। पुरुषोत्तम वासुदेव पचास धनुष ऊंचे थे।
२७८-सव्वे वि णं दीहवेयड्डा मूले पन्नासं पन्नासं जोयणाणि विक्खंभेणं पण्णत्ता। सभी दीर्घ वैताढ्य पर्वत मूल में पचास योजन विस्तार वाले कहे गये हैं।
