An All-India Radio and TV artist performing artist in India for many years. 1989- Joined Shikshayatan as a Music Director, teacher & Renowned Performing Artist Versatile artist, dynamic personality, an educator, social reformer and an artiste par excellence Learned violin from his father Pandit Maatadeen Mishra and under Thakur Omkar Nath, Vasant Renade and Pandit D. Devdhar. Conferred the title of Sangeet Ratna in India. Selected to perform in "Fiddles of the World," a violin extravaganza on June 2000, arranged by Queens Council of the Arts Pandit Mishra's violin album: Swaranjali has become a great success in the Indian as well as American community He is a highly educated artist, holding a masters degree in Education, Music, Hindi, Linguistics and Law He has been the Music composer in the music albums -Devanjali, Shivanjali, Rashtranjali, Vedanjali produced by Shikshayatan Cultural Center Inc. Performed in I.T.V., Temples, Churches, Various conventions in U.K. Canada, Various parts of the United States. Has been a judge in various competitions - Music & Dance Received citation from International Mahatma Gandhi Association. Performed Brahmin Samaj of U.S.A. Convention September 1, 2001 got recognition. New Releases of Music Albums: Raaganjali (Vocal) & Swaranjali-Part 1(Violin) On Kartiki Purnima -Friday November 30, 2001-Shikshayatan's Thirteenth Anniversary Performed at the public function in honor of Prime Minister of India Shri Atal Bihari Vajpaye in New York in 2001 Performed in Washington at the Embassy of India and was honored by Dr. Abid Hussein (Ambassador at the time), Shri Lalit Mansingh, and Dr. Karan Singh. His violin and vocal classical album was released in India by Chief Minister of Chhutishgarh in Baikunthpur, and by Center Broadcasting Minister Shri Ramesh Bais in New Delhi In 2003. Panditji has invented "Megh Garjan Taan" in Classical vocal music. No other musician of India has produced this unique taan in the past. He has a new style of performing Violin and his performance is extraordinary.
