कर्मों के प्रदेशाग्र (द्रव्य) क्षेत्र, काल और भाव
एयाओ मूलपयडीओ, उत्तराओ य आहिया ।
पएसग्गं खेत्तकाले य, भावं चादुत्तरं सुण ॥१६॥ कर्मों की ये मूल और उत्तर प्रकृतियाँ बताई गई हैं। (अब) उनके प्रदेशाग्र (द्रव्य) क्षेत्र, काल, भाव भी सुनो ॥१६॥
These are said the main divisions and sub-divisions of karmas. Now hear their micro particles (pradeśāgra-dravya) place-area, time-duration, and fruition-the intensity to make the soul to experience their consequences. (16)
सव्वेसिं चेव कम्माणं, पएसग्गमणन्तगं ।
गण्ठिय-सत्ताईयं, अन्तो सिद्धाण आहियं ॥१७॥ एक समय में (एक आत्मा द्वारा बद्ध-ग्राह्य होने वाले) सभी कर्मों के प्रदेशाग्र (कर्म-परमाणु पुद्गल दलिक का परिमाण) अनन्त है। (यह अनन्त परिमाण) ग्रन्थिक सत्वातीत (जिन्होंने गन्थि भेद नहीं किया है ऐसे अभव्य जीवों) से अनन्त गुणा अधिक तथा सिद्धों के अन्तवर्ती-अनन्तवें भाग जितने कहे गये हैं ॥१७॥
The micro particles or molecules of all the karmas bound or gripped by soul in a moment (the undivisible subtle particle of time) the quantity of these micro-particles of karmas is infinite. This infinite quantity of molecules of karmas is infinite times more than the number of abhavya souls (the souls can never break up the knot of wrong-faith and so can never be salvated) and infinite part of the number of all emancipated souls. (17)
सव्वजीवाण कम्मं तु, संगहे छद्दिसागयं ।
सव्वेसु वि पएसेसु, सव्वं सव्वेण बद्धगं ॥१८॥ सभी जीव छह दिशाओं में रहे कर्मों (कार्मण वर्गणा के पुद्गलों) का संग्रहण करते हैं। वे सभी कर्म पुद्गल आत्मा के सभी प्रदेशों के साथ सर्व प्रकार से बद्ध-आश्लिष्ट हो जाते हैं ॥१८॥
All the souls grip or bound the micro-particles of group of karmas (Kärmaņa varganas) remaining in six directions around them. All the karmas bound or sticked to the whole soul, its all parts (pradesas) in every way. (18)
उदहीसरिसनामाणं, तीसई कोडिकोडिओ ।
उक्कोसिया ठिई होइ, अन्तोमुहुत्तं जहनिया ॥१९॥ उत्कृष्ट स्थिति तीस कोटा-कोटि सागरोपम की और जघन्य स्थिति अन्तर्मुहूर्त की होती है ॥१९॥
Maximum or longest duration (of karmas) is of thirty crores of crores sāgaropamas; and minimum or shortest duration is less than fortyeight minutes (antarmuhurta). (19)
आवरणिज्जाण दुण्डंपि, वेयणिज्जे तहेव य । अन्तराए य कम्मम्मि, ठिई एसा वियाहिया ॥२०॥
