सूत्र ५१-भावसच्चेणं भन्ते ! जीवे किं जणयइ ?
भावसच्चेणं भावविसोहिं जणयइ । भावविसोहीए वट्टमाणे जीवे अरहन्तपन्नत्तस्स धम्मस्स आराहणयाए अब्भुट्टेइ । अरहन्तपन्नत्तस्स धम्मस्स आराहणयाए अब्भुद्वित्ता परलोग-धम्मस्स आराहए हवइ ॥
सूत्र ५१-(प्रश्न) भगवन् ! भाव-सत्य से जीव को क्या प्राप्त होता है?
(उत्तर) भाव-सत्य (अन्तरात्मा की सत्यता) से जीव भाव-विशुद्धि को प्राप्त करता है। भावशुद्धि में प्रवर्तमान जीव अरिहन्तप्रज्ञप्त धर्म की आराधना के लिए उद्यत होता है। अरिहन्तप्रज्ञप्त धर्म की आराधना के लिए उद्यत व्यक्ति परलोक धर्म का भी आराधक होता है।
Maxim 51. (Q). Bhagawan ! What does the soul acquire by truthfulness of thoughts ?
(A). By truthfulness of thoughts, i.e., truthfulness of inner conscience, the soul acquires purification of thoughts. Thereby he exerts himself to propiliate the religious order as prescribed by arihantas-the omniscients. Such person propiliates the same religious order in his next life also.
सूत्र ५२-करणसच्चेणं भन्ते ! जीवे किं जणयइ ?
करणसच्चेणं करणसत्तिं जणयइ । करणसच्चे वट्टमाणे जीवे जहावाई तहाकारी यावि भवइ ।
सूत्र ५२-(प्रश्न) भगवन् ! करण-सत्य से जीव को क्या प्राप्त होता है?
(उत्तर) करण सत्य (कार्य अथवा क्रिया की सत्यता) से जीव को कार्य शक्ति (प्राप्त कार्य को भली-भाँति संपन्न करने की क्षमता) प्राप्त होती है। करण सत्य में प्रवर्तमान जीव यथावादी तथाकारी (जैसा कहना, वैसा करना) होता है।
Maxim 52. (Q). Bhagawan ! What does the soul acquire by truthfulness of means ?
(A). By truthfulness of means (truthfulness of deeds and activities) the soul attains strength for doing deeds (proficiency to do the deeds). Thereby the soul acts as he speaks or acts upto his words i. e., his actions and words become uncontrary.
सूत्र ५३-जोगसच्चेणं भन्ते ! जीवे कि जणयइ ? जोगसच्चेणं जोगं विसोहेइ ॥ सूत्र ५३-(प्रश्न) भगवन् ! योग-सत्य (योगों की सत्यता) से जीव को क्या प्राप्त होता है? (उत्तर) योग-सत्य (मन-वचन-काया के योगों की सत्यता) से जीव योगों को विशुद्ध कर लेता है। .Maxim 53. (Q). Bhagawan ! What does the soul attain by truthfulness of yogas ?
(A). By truthfulness of yogas-the activities or energies of mind, speech and body, the soul purifies all of them (these).
सूत्र ५४-मणगुत्तयाए णं भन्ते ! जीवे किं जणयइ ? मणगुत्तयाए णं जीवे एगग्गं जणयइ । एगग्गचित्ते णं जीवे मणगुत्ते संजमाराहए भवइ ॥ सूत्र ५४-(प्रश्न) भगवन् ! मनोगुप्ति से जीव क्या प्राप्त करता है?
