14. [Q.] Reverend Sir ! What is the shape and nature of the land where Vidyadhar Shrenis are located?
[Ans.] Gautam ! Their land is very much levelled and worth-seeing. It is as much levelled as the upper part of muraj (a type of drum). Many types of natural and artificial jewels and hay is adding to its beauty. In the southern colony of Vidyadhars, there are fifty Vidydhar towns namely Gaganvallabh and the like. In the northern colony of Vidyadhars, there are sixty capital cities namely Rathanupura Chakraval and the like. Thus the total number of towns and capital cities of southern and northern colonies of Vidyadhars is one hundred and ten. These towns and capital cities are prosperous and well-guarded. The residents of these places enjoy all the facilities available in great cities. The grandeur of those towns and cities is everlasting in the mind. Vidyadhar kings reside in those Vidyadhar towns. They have the grandeur similar to that of a great mountain and importance or uniqueness like that of Malaya, Meru and Mahendra mountain.
१५. [ प्र. ] भगवन् ! विद्याधर श्रेणियों के मनुष्यों का आकार/स्वरूप कैसा है ?
[ उ. ] गौतम ! वहाँ के मनुष्यों का संहनन, संस्थान, ऊँचाई एवं आयुष्य बहुत प्रकार का है। (वे बहुत वर्षों का आयुष्य भोगते हैं। उनमें कई नरकगति में, कई तिर्यंचगति में, कई मनुष्यगति में तथा कई देवगति में जाते हैं। कई सिद्ध, बुद्ध, मुक्त एवं परिनिर्वृत्त होते हैं) सब दुःखों का अन्त करते हैं। उन विद्याधर श्रेणियों के भूमिभाग में वैताढ्य पर्वत के दोनों ओर दस-दस योजन ऊपर दो आभियोग्य फ्रं श्रेणियाँ - आभियोगिक देवों-शक्र, लोकपाल आदि के आज्ञापालक देवों-व्यन्तर देवों की आवासपंक्तियाँ हैं। वे पूर्व-पश्चिम लम्बी तथा उत्तर-दक्षिण चौड़ी हैं। उनकी चौड़ाई दस-दस योजन तथा लम्बाई पर्वत जितनी है। वे दोनों श्रेणियाँ अपने दोनों ओर दो-दो पद्मवरवेदिकाओं एवं दो-दो वनखण्डों से परिवेष्टित हैं। लम्बाई में दोनों पर्वत - जितनी हैं। वर्णन पूर्ववत् जानना चाहिए।

१५. [ प्र. ] विज्जाहरसेढीणं भंते ! मणुआणं केरिसए आयार भावपडोयारे पण्णत्ते ?
[ उ. ] गोयमा ! ते णं मणुआ बहुसंघयणा, बहुसंठाणा, बहुउच्चत्तपज्जवा, बहुआउपज्जवा, ( बहूई वासाई आउं पालेंति, पालित्ता अप्पेगइया णिरयगामी, अप्पेगइया तिरियगामी, अप्पेगइआ मणुयगामी, अप्पेइआ देवगामी, अप्पेगइआ सिज्यंति बुज्झंति मुच्चंति परिणिव्वायंति) सव्यदुक्खाणमंतं करेंति । तासि णं विज्जाहरसेढीणं बहुसमरमणिज्जाओ भूमिभागाओ बेअडस्स पव्वयस्स उभओ पासिं दस दस जोअणाई उडुं उप्पइत्ता एत्थ णं दुवे अभिओगसेढीओ पण्णत्ताओ - पाईणपडीणाययाओ उदीणदाहिणवित्थिण्णाओ, दस दस जोअणाई विक्खंभेणं, पव्वयसमियाओ आयामेणं, उभओ पासिं दोहिं पउमवरवेइयाहिं दोहिं वणसंडेर्हि संपरिक्खित्ताओ वण्णओ दोण्हवि पव्वयसमियाओ आयामेणं ।
