वणसंडेण सव्वओ समन्ता संपरिक्खित्ते वण्णओत्ति। म १३२. [प्र. १ ] जम्बूद्वीप के अन्तर्गत महाविदेह क्षेत्र में मन्दर नामक पर्वत कहाँ पर स्थित है?
[उ. ] गौतम ! उत्तरकुरु के दक्षिण में, देवकुरु के उत्तर में, पूर्व विदेह के पश्चिम में और पश्चिम , 卐 विदेह के पूर्व में जम्बूद्वीप के अन्तर्गत उसके बीचोंबीच मन्दर नामक पर्वत है। वह ९९,००० योजन 5
ऊँचा है, १,००० योजन जमीन में गहरा (सर्व एक लाख योजन का) है। वह मूल में १०,०९०१० - * योजन तथा भूमितल पर १०,००० योजन चौड़ा है। उसके बाद वह चौड़ाई की मात्रा में क्रमशः ॐ ॐ घटता-घटता ऊपर के तल पर १,००० योजन चौड़ा रह जाता है। उसकी परिधि मूल में ३१,९१०३
योजन, भूमितल पर ३१,६२३ योजन तथा ऊपरी तल पर कुछ अधिक ३,१६२ योजन है। वह मूल में ॐ चौड़ा, मध्य में सँकड़ा तथा ऊपर पतला है। उसका आकार गाय की पूँछ के आकार जैसा है। वह म सर्वरत्नमय है, स्वच्छ है, सुकोमल है। वह एक पद्मवरवेदिका द्वारा तथा एक बनखण्ड द्वारा चारों ओर

there is Mandar mountain in Jambu continent. It is 99,000 yojan high, 卐 1,000 yojan deep in the earth (In all it in 1,00,000 yojan). At they
foundation, it is 1,00,090 yojan wide, at the surface of the earth it is 10,000 yojan wide and at the top it is only 1,000 yojan wide as its width
gradually decreases from bottom to the top. Its circumference is $ 31,910, yojan at the foundation, 31,623 yojan at the surface of the earth 45 and a little more than 3,162 yojan at the top. It is wide at the 4
foundation, a little narrow in the middle and very narrow at the top. Its shape is like the tail of a cow. It is all jewelled, clean and smooth. It is surrounded by a lotus vedika and a forest from all sides. The detailed description is as mentioned earlier.
