प्रत्येक चक्रवर्ती के शासन में उसके असीम पुण्योदय प्रभाव से ये नौ निधियाँ (अक्षय निधान) प्रकट होती हैं।
चित्र के मध्यम में मंजूषा दिखाई है। प्रत्येक महानिधि मंजूषा आकार में होती है। यह मंजूषा आठ-आठ चक्रों वाली, आठ योजन ऊँची, नौ योजन चौड़ी और बारह योजन लम्बी होती है। निधियों के नाम व गुण इस प्रकार हैं
(1) नैसर्प निधि - राजमहल आदि का निर्माण ।
(2) पांडुक निधि - एक प्रकार का कृषि विज्ञान ।
(3) पिंगलक निधि - रत्न व आभूषण आदि से सम्बन्धित ।
(4) सर्वरत्न निधि - अश्व, गज, चक्र व दण्ड आदि चौदह रत्नों की उत्पत्ति का हेतु ।
(5) महापद्म निधि - परिधान आदि की निधि ।
(6) काल निधि बर्तन व व्यापार की वस्तुएँ देने वाली।
(7) महाकाल निधि-सोना, चाँदी, मणि, रत्न- प्रदायी। (8) माणवक निधि-तलवार आदि अस्त्र-शस्त्र दायी ।
(9) शंख निधि-नृत्य-संगीत आदि कला ज्ञान ।
NINE TREASURES OF CHAKRAVARTI
Nine Mahanidhis (great treasures) appear during the reign of every Chakravarti due to fruition of his unlimited meritorious karmas.
(1) Naisarpa nidhi
At the center of the illustration is a manjusha (box). Each of these nidhis appears in the form of a box eight Yojans high, nine Yojans wide and twelve Yojans long resting on eight wheels. The names and attributes of these nidhis are --
