ॐ देव थे, वहाँ आये। आकर उनसे बोले-मृत्यु को चाहने वाले, यावत् मेघमुख नागकुमार देवो ! क्या तुम ॥
चातुरन्त चक्रवर्ती राजा भरत को नहीं जानते ? वह महाऋद्धिशाली यावत् महान् बली है। न उसे शस्त्रॐ प्रयोग द्वारा, न अग्नि-प्रयोग द्वारा तथा न मन्त्र-प्रयोग द्वारा ही उपद्रुत किया जा सकता है। कोई भी
उसे रोक नहीं सकता है। फिर भी तुम राजा भरत की सेना पर मूसल तथा मुष्टिका जल-धाराओं द्वारा ॥
सात दिन-रात हुए भीषण वर्षा कर रहे हो। तुम्हारा यह कार्य अनुचित है। किन्तु बीती बात पर अब ऊ क्या उपालंभ दें। तुम अब शीघ्र ही यहाँ से चले जाओ, अन्यथा इस जीवन से अग्रिम जीवन देखने को तैयार हो जाओ-मृत्यु की तैयारी करो।

fire or recitation of a mantra. None can stop him. Still you have been causing torrential rain on his army for the last seven days in such a thick downpower which is as thick as a rod or a fist. Your this act is 4 undesirable. There is no point in condemning for the past. वा जाव अग्गिप्पओगेण वा उवद्दवित्तए वा पडिसेहित्तए वा तहावि अणं ते अम्हेहिं देवाणुप्पिआ ! तुम्भं फ़ पियट्टयाए भरहस्स रण्णो उवसग्गे कए, गच्छह णं तुब्भे देवाणुप्पिआ ! व्हाया कयबलिकम्मा कयकोउअ- 9
