(वे) जीव जो ग्राम, आकर यावत् सन्निवेशों में मनुष्य रूप में उत्पन्न होते हैं, जो प्रकृति से भद्र - सरल प्रकृति के होने से, शान्त प्रकृति वाले होते हैं, स्वभावतः जिनमें क्रोध, मान, माया एवं लोभ की प्रबलता कम होती है, मृदु मार्दवसम्पन्न - कोमल स्वभावयुक्तअहंकाररहित, आलीन - गुरुजनों के आज्ञापालक, विनीत - विनयशील, माता-पिता की सेवा करने वाले, माता-पिता के वचनों का उल्लंघन नहीं करने वाले, अल्पेच्छा - बहुत कम इच्छा व कम आवश्यकता रखने वाले, अल्पारंभ - कम से कम हिंसा करने वाले, अल्प परिग्रह- धन, धान्य आदि परिग्रह के अल्प परिमाण से परितुष्ट, अल्पारंभ - कम से कम जीव हिंसा द्वारा आजीविका चलाने वाले, बहुत वर्षों का आयुष्य भोगते हुए, आयुष्य पूरा कर, मृत्यु आने पर देह - त्यागकर वाणव्यन्तर देवलोकों में से किसी में देव रूप में उत्पन्न होते हैं । इनकी स्थिति आयुष्य परिमाण चौदह हजार वर्ष का होता है। (शेष वर्णन सूत्र ७१ के अनुसार समझें )
UPAPAT OF NOBLE BEINGS
71. Some beings are born as human beings in places like gram, aakar... and so on up to ... sannivesh. Being noble and simple by nature they are calm and have low intensity of anger, conceit, deceit and greed. They are amicable, humble, obedient and polite. They serve their parents and never go against their words. They have modest desires and needs. They commit minimal violence and are content with minimum possessions including wealth and grains. They scarcely use violent methods to earn their living. Living long thus at the end of their life-span they abandon their earthly bodies and are born as gods in any of the interstitial divine realms (Vanavyantar dev-loks).
