दशमी दशा
इस प्रकार हिंसा, मृषावाद और अदत्तादान में लगे रहते हैं और इनके साथ-२ स्त्री-सम्बन्धी काम-भोगों में मूर्च्छित रहते हैं, बंधे रहते हैं, लोलुप और अत्यन्त आसक्त रहते हैं वे मृत्यु के समय काल करके किसी एक असुर-कुमार या किल्बिष-देवों के स्थानों में उत्पन्न हो जाते हैं । फिर वे उन स्थानों से छूटकर पुनः-पुनः भेड़ के समान मूक (अस्पष्टवादी या गूंगे) बन कर मर्त्य-लोक में उत्पन्न होते हैं । हे आयुष्मन् ! श्रमण ! उस निदान-कर्म का पाप रूप यह फल हुआ कि उसके करने वाला केवली भगवान् के प्रतिपादित धर्म में भी श्रद्धा, विश्वास और रुचि नहीं कर सकता अर्थात् उसमें सम्यक् धर्म पर श्रद्धा करने की शक्ति भी नहीं रहती।
टीका-इस सूत्र में कहा गया है कि एक बार निदान-कर्म करने के अनन्तर जब वह व्यक्ति पुनः मर्त्य-लोक में आता है तो वह जैन-दर्शन के सिद्धान्तों में रुचि भी उत्पन्न नहीं कर सकता किन्तु उसकी रुचि अन्य दर्शनों में ही होती है । फिर वह उस रुचि की मात्रा से इस प्रकार हो जाता है जैसे ये कन्द-मूलादि-भक्षी अरण्य-वासी तापस हैं, कुटिया बनाकर वन में रहने वाले तापस हैं, ग्राम के समीप रहने वाले तापस और गुप्त-कार्य करने वाले तापस हैं, जो भाव से तो असंयत होते ही हैं किन्तु सम्यग-दर्शन के बिना द्रव्य से ही अधिक संयत नहीं होते, जो प्राणी, भूत, जीव और सत्त्वों की हिंसा से भी सर्वथा निवृत्त नहीं हुए हैं, पुनः-पुनः मिश्रित-भाषा का उपदेश करते हैं और पाप तथा दोष-पूर्ण भाषण करते हैं । जैसे-मैं ब्राह्मण हूं, इसलिए मुझको मृत्यु मत दो यह दण्ड शूद्रादि के योग्य है, उन्हीं को देना चाहिए । उनका पाप केवल प्राणायाम से ही उड़ जाता है । क्षुद्र जन्तुओं के मारने से चाहे हड्डी-२ में पाप क्यों न भर गया हो, केवल ब्राह्माणों को भोजन कराने से ही वह पाप दूर हो जाता है, जो ऐसा अपलाप करते हैं, इसी प्रकार जो कहते हैं कि मुझे किसी कार्य की आज्ञा मत दो, दूसरों को ही आज्ञा देनी चाहिए; मुझको परि-पीडन मत करो, दूसरों को करो; मुझको मत पकड़ो दूसरों को ही पकड़ो; मुझको दुःख मत पहुंचाओ, दूसरों को पहुंचाओ; इस तरह से हिंसा, उपलक्षण से, मृषावाद, अदत्तादान या चौर्य-कर्म में जो लगे रहते हैं और इनके साथ-२ स्त्री सम्बन्धी काम-भोगों में मूर्च्छित, बद्ध, लोलुप और परम आसक्त हैं, जिनका
