## The Tenth Chapter **With Hindi Commentary** **367** Now the Sutrakar, continuing the same topic, says: **tatē ṇam tam dāriyaṁ ammāpiyarō āmukkabāl-bhāvaṁ viṇṇaya-pariṇayamittam jōvvaṇagamāṇuppattaṁ paḍirūvēṇa sukkēṇa paḍirūvassa bhattārasa bhāriyattāē dalayanti. sāṇam tassa bhāriyā bhavati ēgā ēgajāyā iṭṭā kantā jāv rayan-karaṇḍaga-samāṇā. tīse jāv atijāyamāṇiē vā nijajāy-māṇiē vā puratō mahāṁ dāsī-dās jāv ki tē āsagassa sadati.** **Translation:** After this, when the daughter (dāriyaṁ) leaves behind her childhood (āmukkabāl-bhāvaṁ) and her knowledge matures (viṇṇaya-pariṇayamittam) and she reaches womanhood (jōvvaṇagamāṇuppattaṁ), then her parents (ammāpiyarō) give her (dalayanti) to a suitable husband (paḍirūvassa bhattārasa) as his wife (bhāriyattāē) with a suitable dowry (paḍirūvēṇa sukkēṇa). ________________ दशमी दशा हिन्दीभाषाटीकासहितम् । ३६७ अब सूत्रकार उक्त विषय से ही सम्बन्ध रखते हुए कहते हैं: तते णं तं दारियं अम्मापियरो आमुक्कबाल-भावं विण्णय-परिणयमित्तं जोव्वणगमणुप्पत्तं पडिरूवेण सुक्केण पडिरूवस्स भत्तारस्स भारियत्ताए दलयंति । साणं तस्स भारिया भवति एगा एगजाया इट्टा कंता जाव रयण-करंडग-समाणा । तीसे जाव अतिजायमाणीए वा निज्जाय-माणीए वा पुरतो महं दासी-दास जाव कि ते आसगस्स सदति । __ततस्तां दारिकामम्बा-पितरावामुक्तबालभावां विज्ञान-परिणत-मात्रां यौवनकमनुप्राप्तां प्रतिरूपेण शुल्केन प्रतिरूपाय भर्ने भार्यातया दत्तः। सा नु तस्य भार्या भवति, एका, एक-जाया, इष्टा कान्ता यावद् रत्न-करण्डक-समानी । तस्या यावदतियान्त्या निर्यान्त्या वा पुरतो महान्तो दासीदासाः, जाव किं त आस्यकस्य स्वदते । पदार्थान्वयः-तते णं-इसके अनन्तर तं-उस दारियं-कन्या को अम्मा-पियरो-उसके माता-पिता आमुक्कबाल-भावं-जब वह बाल-भव को छोड़ देती है और विण्णय-परिणयमित्ते-जब उसका ज्ञान परिपक्व हो जाता है और जोवणगमणुपत्तं-वह युवती हो जाती है तो पडिरूवेण-कन्या के योग्य सुक्केण-दहेज के साथ पडिरूवस्स-उसके योग्य भत्तारस्स-भर्ता को भारियत्ताए–भार्या रूप से दलयंति-देते हैं । फिर साणं-वह तस्स-उसकी भारिया-भार्या भवति-हो जाती है एगा एगजाया-वह अपने पति की एक ही पत्नी होती है उसकी कोई सपत्नी नहीं होती इट्ठा-अपने पति की प्रेयसी के समान मनोहर और प्यारी होती है जाव-यावत् तीसे-उसके साथ अतिजायमाणीए वा-घर में प्रवेश करते हुए तथा निज्जायमाणीए वा-घर से बाहर निकलते हुए महं-बहुत से दासी-दास-दास और दासियां होते हैं जाव-यावत् ते-आपके आसगस्स-मुख को किं-क्या सदति-अच्छा लगता है । Jain Education International For Private & Personal Use Only www.jainelibrary.org
