जाता है और व्रत भंग हो जाने पर इसकी प्रायश्चित आदि से शुद्धि की जाती है । उसको छेदोपस्थापना चारित्र कहते हैं । इन्हीं सब बातों का वर्णन इस शास्त्र में हुआ है । इसीलिए आचार्य देव पूज्य श्री आत्माराम जी महाराज ने भी संभवतया सर्व प्रथम इसी शास्त्र पर टीका लिखी और यह शास्त्र सर्वप्रथम प्रकाशित हुआ । इसके प्रकाशन की जब चर्चा हुई तो श्री सुनील गर्ग ने कहा कि यह ग्रन्थ बहुत देर पहले प्रकाशित हुआ था । अतः कागज पीला पड़ने के कारण इसे फिर से कम्पोज करके छपाना ही अच्छा रहेगा । इसी प्रकार छपाने की सम्पूर्ण प्रक्रिया सम्पन्न होने से इस शास्त्र का कई बार अध्ययन हो गया । अशुद्धियों का संशोधन हुआ भाषा और भावों में किञ्चित मात्र भी परिवर्तन नहीं किया गया ।
प्रैस सम्बन्धी सभी कार्यों को यद्यपि गुरुभक्त श्री सुनील गर्ग नारायणा दिल्ली ने बड़ी तत्परता से पूर्ण किया फिर भी कुछ न कुछ व्यवधान आते गये | सबसे बड़ा व्यवधान था एक मई को पूज्य पितामह गुरुदेव उत्तर भारतीय प्रवर्तक भण्डारी श्री पदमचन्द्र जी महाराज का अचानक महाप्रयाण हो जाना | उससे सभी कार्य अस्त व्यस्त हो गया । तथापि मन को यही सान्त्वना दी कि उन्हीं का बताया हुआ कार्य पूरा कर रहे हैं । फिर से कार्य को प्रारम्भ किया गया ।
किसी भी कार्य को सम्पूर्ण करने के लिए अर्थ की आवश्यकता होती है सो इसमें भी अर्थ सहयोग की महती आवश्यकता थी जोकि महाराज के भक्तों की ओर से महत्वपूर्ण योगदान उनकी स्मृति में प्राप्त हुआ और वह भी गुप्तदान के रूप में । अतः उन सभी के प्रति हार्दिक साधुवाद ।
पूज्य गुरुदेव उपप्रवर्तक आगम दिवाकर श्री अमरमुनि जी महाराज की महती कृपा से यह कार्य सम्पन्न हुआ । उनकी कृपा से आर्थिक सहयोग भी भरपूर रूप से श्री वरुण मुनि जी महाराज की दीक्षा के उपलक्ष्य में उनके संसार और धर्म के इस प्रकार दोनों परिवारों की ओर से प्राप्त हुआ । अतः हम पूज्य गुरुदेव के विशेष रूप से आभारी हैं |
