दशाश्रुतस्कन्धसूत्रम्
एवं खलु समणाउसो भए धम्मे पण्णत्ते । इणमेव निग्गंथे पावयणे सच्चे, अणुत्तरे, केवले, संसुद्धे, णेआउए, सल्ल - कत्तणे, सिद्धि-मग्गे, मुत्ति- मग्गे, निज्जाण - मग्गे, निव्वाण- मग्गे, अवितहमविसंदिद्धे, सव्व - दुक्ख प्पहीण - मग्गे । इत्थं ठिया जीवा सिज्झंति, बुज्झंति, मुच्चंति, परिनिव्वायंति, सव्वदुक्खाणमंतं करेंति ।

एवं खलु श्रमणः ! आयुष्मन्तः ! मया धर्मः प्रज्ञप्तः । इदमेव निर्ग्रन्थ-प्रवचनं सत्यम्, अनुत्तरम्, प्रतिपूर्णम्, केवलम्, संशुद्धम्, नैयायिकम्, शल्य-कर्तनम्, सिद्धि-मार्गः, मुक्ति-मार्गः, निर्याण-मार्गः, निर्वाण-मार्गः, अवितथम्, अविसन्दिग्धम्, सर्वदुःखप्रहीणमार्गः, अत्रस्थिताः जीवाः सिध्यन्ति, बुद्धयन्ति, मुच्यन्ते, परिनिर्वान्ति, सर्वदुःखानामन्तं कुर्वन्ति ।

पदार्थान्वयः - समणाउसो - हे दीर्घायु वाले श्रमणो ! एवं खलु - इस प्रकार निश्चय से मए - मैंने धम्मे-धर्म पण्णत्ते - प्रतिपादन किया है इणमेव - यह प्रत्यक्ष निग्गंथे-निर्ग्रन्थ पावयणे - प्रवचन, द्वादशाङ्गरूप सच्चे - सत्य है अणुत्तरे - अनुत्तर अर्थात् सबसे उत्तम है
पुणे - प्रतिपूर्ण है केवले - अद्वितीय है संसुद्धे संशुद्ध है णेआउए- मोक्ष का प्रापक होने से नैयायिक अर्थात् सर्वथा न्याय-पूर्ण है सल्लकत्तणे - माया, नियाण और मिथ्यात्व रूपी शल्य-कर्म का छेदन या विनाश करने वाला है सिद्धि-मग्गे -सिद्धि का मार्ग है मुत्ति- मग्गे - मुक्ति (कर्म - क्षय करने) का मार्ग है निज्जाण - मग्गे - मोक्ष का मार्ग है निव्वाण - मग्गे - सांसारिक कर्मों के विनाश करने का मार्ग है अविसंदिद्धं-सन्देह रहित या अव्यवच्छिन्न है सव्वदुक्ख-प्पहीणमग्गे- - सब दुःखों के क्षीण होने का मार्ग है । इत्थं - इस प्रकार ठिया-निर्ग्रन्थ-प्रवचन में स्थिर जीवा-जीव सिज्झंति-सिद्ध होते हैं बुज्झति - बुद्ध होते हैं और सव्वदुक्खाणं - सब दुःखों के अंतं करेंति - अन्त करने वाले होते हैं ।
