नवमी दशा
सिद्धान्त यही निकला कि जब तक आत्मा सब तरह के कर्मों का नाश नहीं करता तब तक वह किसी प्रकार मुक्त नहीं हो सकता । प्रत्येक व्यक्ति का 'संसार' उसके कर्मों के ऊपर निर्भर है जब तक एक भी कर्म अवशिष्ट रहता है तब तक वह जन्म-मरण के बन्धन से नहीं छूट सकता | किन्तु जिस समय उसके कर्मों का क्षय हो जाता है उस समय कोई भी शक्ति उसको मुक्ति-रूप अलौकिक आनन्द के उपभोग से नहीं रोक सकती । अतः इस संसार-चक्र के बन्धन से मुक्ति की इच्छा वालों को सर्वथा इसी ओर प्रयत्न-शील होना चाहिए । कर्म-क्षय होते ही वह मोक्ष की प्राप्ति कर लेता है । ध्यान रहे कि यह कर्म-क्षय बिना ज्ञान और क्रिया के नहीं होता, उसके लिए इनकी अत्यन्त आवश्यकता है ।
इस प्रकार श्री सुधा स्वामी श्री जम्बू स्वामी के प्रति कहते हैं कि हे जम्बू ! जिस प्रकार इस दशा का अर्थ मैंने श्री श्रमण भगवान् महावीर स्वामी जी के मुखारविन्द से सुना है उसी प्रकार तुम से कहा है । अपनी बुद्धि से मैंने कुछ भी नहीं कहा |
