नवमी दशा
हिन्दीभाषाटीकासहितम् ।
रचना की है और फलतः हजारों को संसार रूपी सागर से पार कर धर्मरूपी द्वीप में संस्थापित किया है । यदि इस प्रकार के पुरुषों की हत्या की जायगी तो अनेकों को अतुल क्षति होगी और हत्यारे को महा- मोहनीय कर्म की उपार्जना । जिसके कारण उसको पुनः - २ संसार-चक्र में परिभ्रमण करना पड़ेगा । अतः प्रत्येक व्यक्ति को जन-हित-रक्षा के लिए और अपने आप को उक्त कर्म के बन्धन से बचाने के लिए परोपकारियों की भूल से भी हत्या नहीं करनी चाहिए ।

जो व्यक्ति दूसरों को धर्म-भ्रष्ट करते हैं उनको भी महा- मोहनीय कर्म के बन्धन में आना पड़ता है । अब सूत्रकार इसी विषय के अट्ठारहवें स्थान का वर्णन करते हैं : उवट्टियं पडिविरयं संजयं सुतवस्सियं ।
विउक्कम्म धम्माओ भंसेइ महामोहं पकुव्वइ ।। १८ ।।
उपस्थितं प्रतिविरतं संयतं सुतपस्विनम् ।
व्युत्क्रम्य धर्माद् भ्रंशयति महामोहं प्रकुरुते ।। १८ ।।
पदार्थान्वयः - उवट्ठियं जो दीक्षा के लिए उपस्थित है पडिविरयं - जिस ने संसार से विरक्त होकर साधु- वृत्ति ग्रहण की है संजयं - जो संयत है तथा सुतवस्सियं - जो भली प्रकार से तप करने वाला है उसको विउक्कम्म- बलात्कार से धम्माओ - धर्म से भंसेइ-भ्रष्ट करता है वह महामोहं - महा- मोहनीय कर्म की पकुव्वई-उपार्जना करता है ।

मूलार्थ - जो दीक्षा के लिए उपस्थित है तथा जिसने संसार से विरक्त होकर दीक्षा ग्रहण की है, जो संयत है और तपस्या में निमग्न है उसको बलात्कार से जो धर्म से भ्रष्ट करता है वह महा- मोहनीय कर्म की उपार्जना करता है ।
टीका - इस सूत्र में जो दूसरों को धर्म से भ्रष्ट करते हैं उनके विषय में कथन किया गया है । जो व्यक्ति सर्ववृत्ति रूप धर्म को ग्रहण करने के लिए उपस्थित हुआ है तथा जिसने सर्ववृत्ति-रूप धर्म ग्रहण कर लिया है अर्थात् साधु -वृत्ति को जो भली भांति पालन कर रहा है ऐसे व्यक्तियों को जो बलात्कार से धर्म-भ्रष्ट करता है अर्थात् अनेक प्रकार की झूठी युक्तियों द्वारा उसको धर्म-मार्ग से विचलित करता है वह महा- मोहनीय कर्म

Those who corrupt others in religion also have to fall into the bondage of the karma of great delusion. Now the sutrakar describes the eighteenth place of this topic:

**Uvattiyam Padivirayam Sanjayam Sutavassiyam.**
**Viukkamm Dhammaao Bhansei Mahamoham Pakuvvai.** || 18 ||

**Upasthitam Prativiratam Sanjayam Sutapasvinam.**
**Vyutkramya Dharmaad Bhranshayati Mahamoham Prakuruate.** || 18 ||
