________________ 卐 137. Lokopachar-vinaya is of seven kinds (1) Abhyasavarttitva-toy $i sit with the guru for learning scriptures and pursue acquisition of 4 virtues. (2) Parachhandanuvarttitva-to follow the desire and command of acharya and other seniors. (3) Karyahetu-to be humble with a feeling of gratitude that he has taught me. (4) Kritpratikritita-to respond for favours with modesty and good behaviour. (5) Artagaveshanata-to keep proper arrangements of medicines and other needs of the ailing. (6) Desh-kaalajnata--to mould behaviour according to time and place. (7) Sarvarth apratilomata-to conduct oneself properly and pleasantly in all activity. To avoid unpleasant and improper demeanour. विवेचन-जैनाचार्यों ने 'विनय' के दो अर्थ किये हैं-आत्मा से कर्म पुद्गलों को दूर हटाना, विनयन या विनाश करना। इस परिभाषा के अनुसार ज्ञान-दर्शन आदि विनय का अर्थ है, ज्ञान आदि की सम्यग् आराधना करते हुए कर्मों को दूर हटाना। दूसरी परिभाषा है-भक्ति बहुमान आदि करना। इस परिभाषा के अनुसार ज्ञान-दर्शन आदि विनय का अर्थ है-ज्ञान एवं ज्ञानियों की भक्ति बहुमान, सेवा व उसकी प्रभावना करना। 'प्रशस्त' का अर्थ है, मन, वचन आदि की उचित शुभ प्रवृत्ति व अशुभ से निवृत्ति। 'विनय' जीवन ॐ व्यवहार की कला है, यह साधु और गृहस्थ सभी के लिए उपयोगी है। औपपातिक सूत्र में तप अधिकार 9 में इनके विविध भेदों का वर्णन है। 5. Elaboration Jain acharyas have given two interpretations of the term vinaya. One is to remove and destroys (vinayan or vinash) karma $ particles from the soul. According to this interpretation the meaning of * jnana, darshan and other types of vinaya is to shed karmas through right and proper pursuit of knowledge and other such activities. The second interpretation is to worship, respect and honour with modesty. According to this interpretation the meaning of jnana, darshan and other types of vinaya is to worship, respect, honour and serve knowledge and those endowed with knowledge. Prashast means gaining noble/pious bent of mind, speech and body and avoiding aprashast or ignoble/evil one.
