卐 (५) दुरनुचर-धर्म का परिपूर्ण आचरण करना। ३३. मध्यवर्ती (बाईस) तीर्थंकरों के शासन में उक्त ॥
पाँच स्थान सुगम (सुबोध्य/सरल) होते हैं--(१) स्वाख्येय-धर्मतत्त्व का व्याख्यान करना।
(२) सविभाज्य-तत्त्व को अपेक्षा दष्टि से समझना। (३) सपश्य-तत्त्व का यक्तिपर्वक 5 निदर्शन का + (४) सुतितिक्ष-उपसर्ग-परीषहादि का सहन करना। (५) स्वनुचर-धर्म का आचरण करना।
32. During the period of influence of the first and last Tirthankar 卐 these five sthaans (matters) are durgam (abstruse and difficult)
(1) Durakhyeya-to preach religious fundamentals. (2) Durvibhajyato properly explain fundamentals from different angles. (3) Durdarsh
to logically elaborate fundamentals. (4) Dustitiksha-to endure ॐ afflictions and torments. (5) Duranuchar-to perfectly follow religious
conduct. 33. During the period of influence of the intervening twenty two Tirthankars the said five sthaans (matters) are sugam (easy and simple)-(1) Svakhyeya--to preach religious fundamentals. (2) Suvibhajya-to properly explain fundamentals. (3) Supashya-to logically elaborate fundamentals. (4) Sutitiksha-to endure afflictions. and torments. (5) Svanuchar-to perfectly follow religious conduct.
विवेचन-प्रथम तीर्थंकर के शासन में साधु ऋजु जड़ सरल और मन्दबुद्धि होते हैं। अन्तिम तीर्थंकर
के समय के साधु वक्र (कुटिल) और आग्रही होते हैं, इसलिए उन दोनों को तत्त्व समझाना आदि दुर्गम ॐ होता है। प्रथम तीर्थंकर के समय के पुरुष अधिक सुकुमार होते हैं, उन्हें परीषहादि सहना कठिन होता 卐 है और अन्तिम तीर्थंकर के समय के पुरुष चंचल मनोवृत्ति वाले होते हैं, उनमें तितिक्षा और अनुपालन
की शक्ति कम होती है। इस कारण उन्हें परीषहादि सहना कठिन होता है। ____ मध्यवर्ती बाईस तीर्थंकरों के समय के पुरुष ऋजु प्राज्ञ (सरल और बुद्धिमान्) होते हैं, अतः उनको धर्मतत्त्व समझाना, परीषहादि सहन करना और धर्म का पालन करना सभी सुगम होते है।
Elaboration-During the period of influence of the first Tirthankar ascetics are riju and jad (simple and dull). During the period of influence of the last Tirthankar ascetics are crooked and dogmatic. Therefore it is difficult to teach and explain them the fundamentals. During the first Tirthankar's age people are comparatively delicate to be able to endure afflictions. During the last Tirthankar's period people are unstable and as a result they have lesser degree of tolerance and resolve. Thus it is difficult for them to endure afflictions.
During the periods of the intervening twenty two Tirthankars people are simple and intelligent. Therefore, for them it is easy to understand fundamentals, endure afflictions and follow religious conduct.
