महावीर - निर्वाण - पद MAHAVIR - NIRVANA PAD (SEGMENT OF MAHAVIR'S NIRVANA) २४९. एगे समणे भगवं महावीरे इमीसे ओसप्पिणीए चउव्वीसाए तित्थगराणं चरमतित्थयरे सिद्धे बुद्धे मुत्ते जाव [ अंतगडे परिणिव्युडे. ] सव्यदुक्खप्पहीणे ।
२४९. इस अवसर्पिणी काल के चौबीस तीर्थंकरों में चरम तीर्थंकर श्रमण भगवान महावीर अकेले ही सिद्ध, बुद्ध, मुक्त, अन्तकृत् (संसार का अन्त करने वाले), परिनिर्वृत्त एवं सर्व दुःखों से रहित हुए। 249. Shraman Bhagavan Mahavir, the last among the twenty four Tirthankars of the current regressive half-cycle of time, became Siddha 5 (perfect ), Buddha (enlightened) and Mukta ( liberated) [terminating his 5 cycles of rebirth], accomplishing everything and freeing himself of all sorrows alone.
