Illustration No. 10 लोकस्थिति और देव विमान यह १४ राजू प्रमाण सम्पूर्ण लोक तीन भागों में विभक्त है-(१) अधोलोक-सात नरक भूमियाँ हैं। (२) मध्यलोक-बीच में मनुष्य लोक है। (३) ऊर्ध्वलोक-इसमें १२ कल्पविमान, ९ नवग्रैवेयक विमान, ५ अनुत्तर विमान और उन सबसे ऊपर सिद्ध शिला (मोक्ष स्थान) है।
सात नरक भूमियों के नीचे सबसे नीचे आकाश है। आकाश पर तनुवात, उस पर घनवात, उस पर घनोदधि है। घनोदधि पर यह समस्त लोक स्थित है। ___ सम्पूर्ण लोक के बाहर चारों तरफ-तनुवात, घनवात तथा घनोदधि के तीन वलय हैं।

देव विमान तीन प्रकार के आकार में हैं-(१) कुछ खिले हुए कमल की तरह गोलाकार, उनके चारों तरफ परकोटा है तथा एक द्वार है। (२) कुछ त्रिकोणाकार हैं, उनके दो तरफ परकोटा और तीन द्वार हैं। (३) कुछ विमान चतुष्कोण (चौकोर) होते हैं, उनके चारों तरफ वेदिका है और चार द्वार हैं। चित्र में एक तरफ लोक की स्थिति तथा दूसरी ओर देव विमानों की आकृति दर्शायी है।

STRUCTURE OF LOK AND CELESTIAL VEHICLES
This complete Lok with 14 Rajju spread is divided into three sections(1) Adholok-seven infernal worlds. (2) Madhyalok-the middle world or the land of humans. (3) Urdhvalok-It has 12 Kalp Vimaans, 9 Navagraiveyak Vimaans, 5 Anuttar Vimaans and above all Siddha Shila or the land of the liberated.
Below the seven infernal worlds there is space intervened by three layers. Above space is tanuvat, above tanuvat is ghanavat and above that is ghanodadhi. Over ghanodadhi rests this entire Lok.
Outside and around the entire Lok also there are three rings of tanuvat, ghanavat and ghanodadhi.
-Sthaan 3, Sutra 203, 251, 407 Celestial Vehicles___Dev Vimaans (celestial vehicles) have three shapes-(1) Some are round like a lotus in bloom. They have a surrounding parapet wall and a gate. (2) Some are triangular. These have parapet walls on two sides and three gates. (3) Some are square shaped. On their four sides there are raised platforms. They have four gates.
