१९. एवं आउक्काइएण वि सव्वे वि भाणियव्वा। १९. इसी प्रकार अप्कायिक जीवों के साथ भी पृथ्वीकायिक आदि सभी का कथन करना चाहिए।
19. In the same way repeat with regard to water-bodied beings for exhaling and inhaling earth-bodied beings and others.
२०. एवं तेउक्काइएण वि। २०. इसी प्रकार तेजस्कायिक के साथ भी पृथ्वीकायिक आदि का कथन करना चाहिए।
20. In the same way repeat with regard to fire-bodied beings for exhaling and inhaling earth-bodied beings and others.
२१. एवं वाउक्काइएण वि। २१. इसी प्रकार वायुकायिक जीवों के साथ भी पृथ्वीकायिक आदि का कथन करना चाहिए।
21. In the same way repeat with regard to plant-bodied beings for exhaling and inhaling earth-bodied beings and others.
२२. [प्र. ] वणस्सइकाइए णं भंते ! वणस्सइकाइयं चेव आणममाणे वा० ? पुच्छा। [उ.] गोयमा ! सिय तिकिरिए, सिय चउकिरिए, सिय पंचकिरिए।
२२. [प्र. ] भगवन् ! वनस्पतिकायिक जीव, वनस्पतिकायिक जीवों को आभ्यन्तर और बाह्य + श्वासोच्छ्वास के रूप में ग्रहण करते और छोड़ते हुए कितनी क्रिया वाले होते हैं ?
[उ. ] गौतम ! कदाचित् तीन क्रिया वाले, कदाचित् चार क्रिया वाले और कदाचित् पाँच क्रिया है वाले होते हैं।
22. Bhante ! When plant-bodied beings (vanaspatikayik jiva) inhale and exhale other plant-bodied beings (vanaspatikayik jiva) during their respiration, in how many activities (kriya) are they involved ?
(Ans.) Gautam ! They are involved sometimes in three, sometimes in 4 four and sometimes in five activities.
विवेचन : श्वासोच्छ्वास में क्रिया-प्ररूपणा-पृथ्वीकायिकादि जीव पृथ्वीकायिकादि जीवों को श्वासोच्छ्वास रूप में ग्रहण करते हुए, छोड़ते हुए, जब तक उनको पीड़ा उत्पन्न नहीं करते, तब तक (१) कायिकी, (२) आधिकरणिकी, (३) प्राद्वेषिकी; तीन क्रियाएँ लगती हैं, जब पीड़ा उत्पन्न करते हैं तब पारितापनिकी सहित चारक क्रियाएँ लगती हैं और जब उन जीवों का वध करते हैं तब प्राणातिपातिकी सहित पाँचों क्रियाएँ लगती हैं।
