May you destroy the chain of afflictions and being free of them may you attain the stable and eternal

७७. तए णं से जमाली खत्तियकुमारे नयणमालासहस्सेहिं पिच्छिज्जमाणे पिच्छिज्जमाणे एवं जहा म उववाइए कणिओ जाव णिग्गच्छति, निग्गच्छित्ता जेणेव माहणकुंडग्गामे नगरे जेणेव बहसालए चे.
उवागच्छइ, तेणेव उवागच्छित्ता छत्तादीए तित्थगरातिसए पासइ, पासित्ता पुरिससहस्सवाहिणिं सीयं टवेइ,
ठवित्ता पुरिससहस्सवाहिणीओ सीयाओ पच्चोरुहइ। + ७७. औपपातिकसूत्र में वर्णित कूणिक के वर्णनानुसार क्षत्रियकुमार जमालि (दीक्षार्थी के रूप में)
हजारों (व्यक्तियों) की नयनावलियों द्वारा देखा जाता हुआ यावत् (क्षत्रियकुण्डग्राम नगर के बीचोंबीच फ़ होकर) निकला। फिर ब्राह्मणकुण्डग्राम नगर के बाहर बहुशालक नामक उद्यान के निकट आया और
ज्यों ही उसने तीर्थंकर भगवान के छत्र आदि अतिशयों को देखा, त्यों ही हजार पुरुषों द्वारा उठाई जाने ॐ वाली उस शिविका को ठहराया और स्वयं उस सहस्रपुरुषवाहिनी शिविका से नीचे उतरा।

पउमे इ वा जाव सहस्सपत्ते इ वा पंके जाए जले संवुड्ढे णोपलिप्पइ पंकरएणं णोवलिप्पइ जलरएणं है म एवामेव जमाली वि खत्तियकुमारे कामेहिं जाए भोगेहिं संवुड्ढे णोवलिप्पइ कामरएणं णोवलिप्पइ भोगरएणं
णोवलिप्पइ मित्त-णाइ-नियग-सयण-संबंधि-परिजणेणं, एस णं देवाणुप्पिया ! संसारभउबिग्गे, भीए 卐 जम्मण-मरणेणं देवाणुप्पियाणं अंतिए मुंडे भवित्ता अगाराओ अणागारियं पव्वयइ, तं एवं णं
देवाणुप्पियाणं अम्हे सीसभिक्खं दलयामो, पडिच्छंतु णं देवाणुप्पिया सीसभिक्खं।
