________________ 卐 卐 卐 卐 5 पट होने से पटी एवं कर होने से करी कहा जाता है, इसी तरह, हे गौतम ! जीव श्रोत्रेन्द्रिय சு தததததததததததததததததததததத*தமிமிமிமிமிததழி चक्षुरिन्द्रिय- प्राणेन्द्रिय-जिह्वेन्द्रिय- स्पर्शेन्द्रिय- ( स्वरूप पुद्गल वाला होने से ) की अपेक्षा से 'पुद्गली' कहलाता है, तथा स्वयं जीव की अपेक्षा 'पुद्गल' कहलाता है । इस कारण से हे गौतम! मैं कहता हूँ कि 5 जीव पुद्गली भी है और पुद्गल भी है। 卐 卐 [प्र. २ ] भगवन् ! किस कारण से आप ऐसा कहते हैं कि जीव पुद्गली भी है और पुद्गल भी है ? 卐 卐 hhhhhh [ उ. ] गौतम ! जैसे किसी पुरुष के पास छत्र हो उसे छत्री, दण्ड हो उसे दण्डी, घट होने से घटी, [Ans.] Gautam ! As a person with a chhatra ( umbrella) is called chhatri (the owner of umbrella), a person with a dand (staff) is called 卐 dandi (the owner of staff), a person with a ghat (urn) is called ghati (the 卐 owner of urn), a person with a pat (piece of cloth) is called pati (the f owner of piece of cloth ), and a person with a kar (hand) is called hari (the 5 卐 owner of hand); in the same way, Gautam ! Because a jiva (living being) 5 5 has the sense organ of hearing (a form of matter), that of seeing, that of फ फ्र சு फ ( pudgal ). And in itself or in context of soul it is matter (pudgal). That is फ्र 5 why, Gautam ! I say that jiva (living being / soul) is both a possessor of FFEE 59. [Q. 2] Bhante ! Why do you say that jiva ( living being / soul) is both a possessor of matter (pudgali) as well as matter (pudgal) ? 5 matter (pudgali) as well as matter (pudgal). 卐 ६०. [ प्र. १ ] नेरइए णं भंते! किं पोग्गली० ? [ उ. ] एवं चेव । [ २ ] एवं जाव वेमाणिए । नवरं जस्स जइ इंदियाइं तस्स तइ वि भाणियव्वाइं । ६०. [ प्र. १ ] भगवन् ! नैरयिक जीव पुद्गली है, अथवा पुद्गल है ? [ उ. ] गौतम ! उपर्युक्त सूत्रानुसार यहाँ भी कथन करना चाहिए। [ २ ] इसी प्रकार यावत् वैमानिक तक कहना चाहिए, किन्तु साथ ही, जिस जीव की जितनो इन्द्रियाँ हों, उसकी उतनी इन्द्रियाँ कहनी चाहिए। 5 smell, that of taste and that of touch, it is called possessor of matter 60. [Q. 1] Bhante ! Is Nairayik jiva (infernal being / soul) possessor of matter (pudgali) or matter (pudgal ) ? [Ans.] Gautam !
