[उ. ] गौतम ! उसके सर्वबन्ध का अन्तर जघन्यतः अन्तर्मुहूर्त्त और उत्कृष्टतः अनन्तकाल - फ्र वनस्पतिकाल तक होता है। इसी प्रकार देशबन्ध का अन्तर भी जान लेना चाहिए।

What is the intervening period between one Vayukaayik 5 ekendriya-vaikriya-sharira-prayoga-bandh (bondage related to bodied one-sensed transmutable physical body formation) and the next in case of the air-bodied living being taking rebirth as some other class of living being (no-vayu-kaayik) and taking rebirth again as air-bodied living being ?

[Ans.] Gautam ! This intervening period for the bondage of the whole (sarva-bandh) is a minimum of one Antarmuhurt and a maximum of 卐 infinite time or Vanaspati-kaal (another term for infinite period because
the number of plant-bodied beings is infinite). The same is true for the bondage of a part (desh-bandh).
७६. [ प्र. १ ] जीवस्स णं भंते! रयणप्पभापुढविनेरइयत्ते णोरयणप्पभापुढवि० पुच्छा ।

[उ.] गोयमा ! सव्वबंधंतरं जहन्त्रेणं दस वाससहस्साइं अंतोमुहुत्तमब्भहियाई, उक्कोसेणं फ वणस्सइकालो । देसबंधंतरं जहन्त्रेणं अंतोमुहुत्तं; उक्कोसेणं अनंतं कालं, वणस्सइकालो ।
[उ. ] गौतम ! (ऐसे जीव के वैक्रियशरीर- प्रयोगबन्ध के) सर्वबन्ध का अन्तर जघन्य अन्तर्मुहूर्त्त
७६. [ प्र. १ ] भगवन् ! रत्नप्रभापृथ्वी नैरयिक रूप में रहा हुआ जीव, ( वहाँ से मरकर ) रत्नप्रभा पृथ्वी के सिवाय अन्य स्थानों में उत्पन्न हो, और ( वहाँ से मरकर) पुनः रत्नप्रभापृथ्वी में नैरयिक रूप से उत्पन्न हो तो उस रत्नप्रभानैरयिक-वैक्रियशरीर-प्रयोगबन्ध का अन्तर कितने काल का होता है ? फ्र
5 अधिक दस हजार वर्ष का और उत्कृष्ट अनन्तकाल - वनस्पतिकाल का होता है । देशबन्ध का अन्तर 5 卐 जघन्यतः अन्तर्मुहूर्त्त और उत्कृष्टतः अनन्तकाल - वनस्पतिकाल का होता है ।

a part (desh-bandh) is a minimum of one Samaya and a maximum of infinite time or Vanaspati-kaal.
